There is another bedroom which we stay in, a main bathroom, an open plan living and kitchen area. We have Wi-Fi internet and secure onsite parking, (subject to availability). The kitchen has all mod cons too. There's also a comunal courtyard area on the ground floor of the building which is lovely especially in the summer!
We are a laid back and friendly couple. I work as a freelance photographer and Sheraz is a history teacher. We love to cook and are told we are great hosts! We offer continental breakfast, a good selection of teas and Lavazza coffee. The Mailbox which is full of restaurants is literally on our doorstep but you can cook in or order from one of the local restaurants that do delivery which we can help you choose from.
Expect an enjoyable and restful stay. The flat would be ideal for easy going respectful people.
Just let us know in advance if you would like to bring someone around.
Sheraz was a great host - very interesting and inspiring conversations. The room was really nice, with a separate bathroom and the bed super comfortable. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others!
Romana & Sheraz Khan were very relaxed and friendly hosts. They were very happy for me to use their facilities and their house was such a pleasant place to stay. The room was spacious, quiet, and very tidy. I would highly recommend this place and even more so if you're a cat lover as their Tabby is such a charmer.
Romana & Sheraz were very nice and made us feel at home. Their lovely flat was as described and cleaned. The location is perfect, right in the city centre and the bedroom with on-suite bathroom made us feel independent too.
For those who could find it a deal breaker that Romana and Sheraz have a cat, note that we have never seen it and couldn't even guess there was one.
We will definitely give you guys another heads-up the next time we are coming up. Many thanks once again.
It was brilliant staying at Romana and Sheraz place as it was a few walks to the city Centre and in a very safe and friendly neighbourhood.
Although the host Sheraz had some sports commitments, he still manage to attend to my arrival and hospitality.
The place was very clean and warm with everything I needed for my stay. I will definitely stay here again on my next Birmingham visit.
Romana & Sheraz are v. great and friendly host, they simply cater all your needs during the stay and offer u a high degree of privacy as well. Sheraz was sick when I arrived but he still patiently explained everything :) The room is fantastic and the breakfast is great too. Strongly recommend if u go to Birmingham!
To Romana & Sheraz: wish Arsenal can win this year FA Cup on 30 May, come on gunners!!
Romana & Sheraz (and Tiger the cat) were lovely hosts, they made me feel welcomed and I had a really good sleep on my one night there! The room and ensuite gives the traveller that extra bit of privacy. I would definitely consider coming back should I visit Birmingham in the future :)
