Beautiful property. We had a great time and Jim was a awesome host.
We had an awesome time at tea lake! Loved staying in the retro Dragonfly trailer. Super cute and clean. Suzanne and Jim are great hosts! :) :) :)
My husband, kids & I stayed in The Dragonfly for half of a week, and had we not already made other plans, would have easily stayed on longer (thanks for offering Jim & Suzie!). The kids absolutely loved it on Tea Lake, swimming for hours daily, going for walks, absorbing the fresh air, and of course having the opportunity to drive a tractor with Jim :) Suzie & Jim are such wonderful hosts and make you feel right at home on their gorgeous property! They give you your own private space when needed, however are instantly available to help you at the drop of a hat. The Big Chute was within walking distance & our kids loved the large marine railway (and of course the ice-cream that followed). The photos of The Dragonfly are very accurate, and the trailer is a very cozy & clean place to stay (sure beats camping!). We look forward to our next vacation & would definitely stay with Jim & Suzie in a heartbeat (next time bringing chicken wings for a big cookout!). Thanks for creating memories for our children ~ we had a blast!!! All the best, the Meadus Clan :)
We stayed at the Dragon Fly for the weekend and we didn't want to leave come Sunday. Suzanne and Jim made us feel right at home and because of them being so great we are looking to book for the September long weekend. I would definitely recommend this place to others.
This is our second time at Tea Lake staying at Suzie and Jim's, and the kids ABSOLUTELY loved it! The lake was warm and very swimmable, the area is quiet and relaxing. There is a store nearby for the replenishing of foodstuffs and the purchasing of ice creams. Definitely highly recommended! We will return, and next time we will bring anti-mosquito spray too.
My husband and I, and our two young boys spent a wonderful week at The Dragonfly. It was just the right mix of nature and sightseeing around local towns, lakes and marinas. You cannot hope for better hosts than Suzie and Jim. They were on hand for any questions or concerns. When we needed bigger pots and pans, they would provide them. When we needed help with changing propane tanks, Jim was right there. They took our boys out for a spin on their boat & Jim even constructed two beautiful toy boats out of wood for the both of them. I feel like there isn't enough room to write further details of how wonderful it all was! They were beautifully accommodating and in our opinion went above and beyond expectation. We feel like when we arrived we met wonderful hosts, but left having met new and dear friends. I would go back in a heartbeat and recommend the Dragonfly to anyone who sees it as a fun and quaint adventure to sleep in a camper van.
It was a great experience to stay in Suzannes Trailer. Very comfortable for a mobile-home, full equipped and with a private loggia with BBQ! We enjoy the phantastic scenery of the TeaLake and could perfectly relax on the first days of our roundtrip. Thanks to Suzanne and her husband, that we have the option to see one of the german games of the soccer-worldcup in their perfect home-cinema!
