What a wonderful place to stay!! My husband and I stayed 5 days at this flat and it was absolutely perfect. It is a very large space that sleeps two very comfortably - fully stocked and impeccably clean! It is far enough away from the city center to get a feel of how Parisians live (it is a very quiet street), but close enough to access all the big sights within 10-15 minutes via metro. The shops and cafés across the street were all fantastic as well.
Beatrice is a wonderful host and I will highly recommend this place!!!
As a first Airbnb experience, it was perfect. The apartment is well-located, comfortable and clean. Communication with Beatrice was easy and friendly and the whole thing was a pleasure. I recommend it for everybody.
What can I say, I LOVED this apartment!!!! My friend and I had an amazing time in Beatrice's quirky apartment in the 9th arrondissement. When we arrived, there was a bottle of wine waiting for us and a fridge stocked with enough food for breakfast. Beatrice's eye for decor is amazing and we really enjoyed the look of her apartment. The bathroom was clean, large and modern, with complimentary towels. The bed was incredibly comfortable and there was wifi and a good computer available for our use. We couldn't have asked for more.
Having lived in Paris many years ago, the location of the apartment is great! It's in the 9th district, which can have some seedy parts, but you are definitely in the nice part of the district in a great neighborhood that still feels alive yet is quiet enough for a good night's sleep. There is a supermarket next door as well as many Boulangeries, which were great for our morning pastries and baguettes!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this apartment.
This was our first airbnb.com experience and it was more than expected-it was fabulous. Beatrice's place was perfectly located where we walked to most sites or took the metro. We had the best of both worlds where we were close enough to sites but had the experience of living like a true Parisians. Every morning, I would walk around the corner to get fresh baked croissants and get fresh produce from the grocery store which was just downstairs.
The apartment itself was huge and wonderfully decorated. When we arrived, Beatrice had left a welcome bottle of wine and delicious breakfast selection. She was kind enough to accommodate our train schedule and let us check in early and check out late.
The wifi was strong and there was a list of local places and suggestions as well.
I would recommend this place to anyone and would stay here every time I'm in Paris.
We stayed at Paris at Beatrice's flat for four days! and since day one everything was absolutely perfect! Her flat is close to everything you will need to have a great time in Paris, 5 mins walking distance from the metro station, supermarket across the street, great restaurants just steps away! But the best of all is that Beatrice is a great host, she will make you feel at home!! Also she has prepared a fantastic tour guide!! Are the details that she had take care of that you will have a magical stay on the great city of Paris! No second thoughts next time we come to town! Thanks Beatrice and Matthew for our pleasant stay and experience!
The apartment is in a great location and Beatrice is a great host. I stayed in November and the apartment was very warm and clean. Beatrice even left fresh bread, cereals, juices and milk, which was phenomenal.
Beatrice's apartment is perfect. Very comfortable bed and black out curtains so you can kick jet lag in the butt! The apartment was very clean and she provided us with breakfast items, wine, and drinks. There was a problem with the washing machine (things happen!) and Beatrice gave us a price reduction. Also there is a laundromat right next to the building so it did not effect the quality of our stay. The booklet she provided with personal recommendations was awesome, especially the pizza place Di Lorretta...best pizza of my life thus far! Metro stations are close. We would walk all day and take the metro back. Seemed like a very safe neighborhood with several bakeries to get your morning croissant. Also Beatrice is a very pleasant person who made us feel welcome immediately. Thanks again Beatrice!
We had the most amazing stay at Beatrice's apartment. We stayed for 15 days and she made it feel like home. It is so close to Paris Nord which meant we got the train from the airport and walked to her place. It is big by Paris standards and is light and clean and lots of fun. The host Beatrice is amazing and anything we needed she replied to in moments. She left us food in the fridge and the local large supermarket is just 4 doors away and has everything you would want from wine to cheese to meat to fish...... We used the station at Cadet if we needed to go a long way otherwise we could walk to Opera, Galleries Lafayette, the Moulin Rouge. We felt very safe walking around at night and Montmartre is just lovely. We visited the Sacre Couer which is very close by.
I just hope the next time we visit Paris we can stay at Beatrice's apartment. She is lots of fun as well. We had the best time and I really think that it was due to the lovely light apartment, the host and the position of the apartment.
We took the train out of Paris many times including to Epernay , Nancy and Lyon and could walk to Gare de l'Est from where most of the trains leave. I would recommend the shopping in Epernay as well as the champagne.
We also went to Bistrot Papillion which is highly rated and close to the apartment.
Overall a most wonderful fabulous time- close to everything. I would recommend it 110 percent.
Beatrice took really good care of us. Even if we couldn't meet in person she was fantastic, Always available and gave us great advice.
Check-in was super smooth, we received instructions on how to get to the apartment easily and how to get the keys.
The apartment was super clean, super comfy and in an awesome neighborhood. Go to rue des Martyrs, buy some food and walk all the way to Montmartre.
I can only highly recommend this place.
Thanks a lot Beatrice!
We loved our Parisian experience at Beatrice apt. It is the perfect size for a couple. The location is great (close to montmarte, moulin rouge) and only a quick subway ride away from Louvre, notre dam, Luxembourg gardens, orsay etc)
The breakfast and bottle of wine welcoming us was SO wonderful and a sweet gesture. The place is very well decorated (vintage decor -- love) and super clean.
Tips: the area has many great dining recommendations from trip advisor but they are small so def make a reservation. Take subway from airport to gare du nord and if you have lots of luggage, take a cab the rest of the way. It's walkable but The trek to the apt with all the luggage can be tough! If you need to do laundry, there is a laundromat right outside her window! You can buy detergent for 1 euro to use for her washing machine. Watch out for pick pickpocketers (they usually have a clip board and try to ask you for donations).
