The space
Rosewood Acres is nestled perfectly between the market town of Faversham with its cobbled streets and beautiful docs, the cathedral city of Canterbury which is steeped in history, and the wonderful seaside town of Whitstable which hosts many fine seafood restaurants, bars and sunset beach walks.

Our Daffodil tent has the best seat in the house for views being at the highest point in the field and is our ‘sunrise’ tent. It’s a bit closer to our neighbours campsite so you may hear some other campers having some fun next door. It shares the paddock with just one other tent and there are 2 compost toilets, 2 showers and a shared communal kitchen. It has beautiful views across the landscape and a slight birdseye view of Blean woods. It’s great for a spot of birdwatching or for just chilling out and escaping the hustle and bustle.

We have a sheep, alpacas and chickens here that you are welcome to go and see. They are all in electric fence netting so be careful if you do. They are moved every couple of days so you might see or hear the farmer or workers from time to time moving them around or see the odd animal dropping!

We have a VERY friendly collie dog here that you will definitely get the chance to meet as he absolutely LOVES guests! He will be your best friend for life if you play with him.

All our water here is fresh drinking water which you will find at the sink in the kitchen. There is hot and cold water, washing up liquid, pots, pans, plates, cups, cooking & eating utensils, 2 gas stoves and 2 gas kettles.
Please bring a big chopping knife if you wish to chop veggies etc.
Due to the kitchens being open and outdoors and with kids running about, we don’t keep big sharp knives in them to reduce the risks of accidents happening.

Please bring your own condiments like salt, pepper, oil for cooking, ketchup and the like, tea, coffee and milk etc. as we do not supply these things. If you wish to use the bbq please bring your own bbq coals.

We are completely off grid here, meaning we have no electricity, no fridges and no weekly/fortnightly bin pickups so we kindly as that you take all of your rubbish away with you. There is a small compost bin in your kitchen area for any food waste which we will compost here at the farm and bin bags will be in your kitchen area :-)

Please note:

Check in is from 3pm onwards.
Check out is 10am.

As we are in the countryside and have lots of animals we ask you to please be respectful an that there is no extra loud music.

We sell our own seasonal vegetables here which is grown in an organic no dig system, so if you would like anything, just ask and we will tell you what we have available at the time.

We are a regenerative farm so move our animals across the land every few days, mimicking the natural behaviours of those in the wild and never keeping them on the same patch for too long which can cause overgrazing and is damaging to the land.

There are 5 bell tents here in total, so if booked, you will be sharing the land with a few other campers, tents are a nice distance away from each other.

If there are any accidents on the mattresses, there will be a £30 cleaning fee. We understand that accidents do happen but we do need to charge a small fee just to cover the cost of getting them professionally cleaned and we would appreciate if you could let us know as soon as it happens.

If the bedding is damaged beyond repair then a replacement cost will occur.

We look forward to welcoming you to our farm.
