  • Great location! 3BR anywhere in Manhattan is difficult to find at a reasonable price. Rooms are tight but that should be expected in NYC. You get a true NYC experience living at this address. Shops, restaurants, convenient to public transportation and the East Village is just a fun neighborhood. Had my entire family with me, including 3 kids (13,11,5). They loved their time there. I was working and they were about the city often. If you're going to stay in the apartment often you might get a little claustrophobic, if you're out to explore NYC and need 3 BRs this will suit your needs. Neighborhood was safe, parked my SUV on the streets and never had an issue.

  • The apartment is very nice and clean.
It did seem larger than it actually happened to be, though.

  • The appartment was perfect for us. We were a group of 5 people. One bedroom is pretty small, but it was perfect for one. The place had everything we needed for a week stage. The location is just perfect, close to subway and bus stops, and has lots of good options for bars and restaurants. Only issue we had is that air conditioners were just installed and the installation was not done properly, so it was pretty chilly. But given the time of the year we were there we could implement a workaround with towels to cover the gap. We reported issue, so we bet it will be fixed.

  • Smaller then expected but location is great and we had a blast.

    March 2012
  • The apartment itself served its purpose. It had 3 full beds, which is what we were looking for.

Pros: The location is phenomenal - you honestly don't need to leave the neighborhood for any reason unless you want to - there's shopping, great restaurants, awesome bars, etc. And if you do want to venture around the city, the subway isn't far and obviously you can catch a cab anywhere. The people who work at the management office are wonderful and didn't charge us the extra $25 for key pick-up even though our bus was late. They also let us leave our luggage there the day of check-out so we could wander around without all of our stuff en-tow and get a bite to eat before we had to leave. The cable and wifi are provided and we had no issues with either. Also, the hot water lasts and lasts for a good while in the shower, and the water pressure is great. No outlet in the bathroom, though, just fyi.

Cons: The table in the photos is pushed up against the wall, but in reality, it's in the middle of that really small living room because there are chairs on the other side of it, so there's not much room to move around. 2 of the 3 bedrooms are teeny which is fine, but their windows also right on the street - which is right across the street from a huge park, so if you're even a semi-light sleeper, you can expect screaming children to wake you up pretty early in the morning. If the screaming children don't wake you up: starting at about 8 am every morning there is a banging on the pipes so loud that goes on for about 20 minutes once an hour until at least 11 am. It sounds like it's just the heat (radiator heat) - but it's REALLY loud. Wear earplugs.

Biggest downfall: The super of the building is a bit crazy. The night we arrived (a Thursday) we turned on some music - which by NO means was "loud" (we were playing it from the speakers of an iPhone, which aren't even capable of being loud) while we made ourselves a drink and got ready to go out... and she didn't even knock on the door, she LET HERSELF IN to the apartment and started completely flipping out saying she had kids and they were trying to sleep, etc. We just calmly looked at her and said - ok, we can turn it off. If I weren't a nice person I would have told her where to stick it, but she's lucky I am. I've never experienced anything like that. And if we actually *were* playing loud music, she'd have had every right to be mad, but a) we weren't and b) nobody has any right to let themselves in without at least a knock on the door. Period. I'm also pretty sure the beds aren't mattresses, but are just box springs with sheets on them. They are like rocks.

Overall: If you want a place for 6 people to sleep, bring earplugs for the 4 people staying in the 2 small rooms and make sure you quadruple lock to the door, because apparently the super doesn't realize that it's illegal to walk into a property without notice (e.g knocking or announcing herself). Don't expect much space, but do expect to be staying in a great location. It's not horrible, but I can almost say I'd had better experiences at NYC hostels for cheaper.

  • We loved this condo! We comfortably fit four ladies in this 3-bedroom condo. It was in a great location (lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance) with great energy. The condo was clean and had everything we needed (except a wine opener but we bought one and left it there!). It was a safe and secure building. All-in-all we loved it! We'd happily stay there again.

  • The apartment was clean and additional clean sheets were provided. The apartment is really small despite having 3 bedrooms. The place is perfect if you are planning in having an active (website hidden). Marks pl is a really live and busy street at nights and you can hear that when you are trying to sleep at 4 am. It was really loud in both bedrooms facing the street. Just be aware of that.
It is very well located and subway is not too far from there. About a 10 minute walk.
The place has a small kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, microwave oven and coffee maker. I recommend the owner to equip the kitchen better. There were only a couple of forks, plates, glasses and not the necessary utensils to cook a basic meal. The old pans were rusty and all the left tefflon was peeling off. I had to buy one as well as a cork screw. Some basic new utensils would make the place better. I also rent a room in Germany and try to provide everything the guest might need during his/her stay.

  • My parents, my little sister, my boyfriend and I spent a fabulous stay at levi's.
The location is AMAZING. A very lively, charming neighborhood and a bus stop right in front of our doorstep.

Besides the appartement was very cosy. You only need to be aware that 2 of the 3 are on the street and kind of noisy at night...
Also, the flat is on the first floor so a bit dark... Which was ABSOLUTELY ont a problem for us because we were hitting the road all Day long.
