About This Listing
2-bedroom house near Ocean Beach and the Zoo in San Francisco. A block and a half from Stern Grove. Tennis courts and parks within walking distance. Close to Golden Gate Park. One block from Muni (L-line and 28 bus). A few block from surf beach (Sloat). Has a private yard, spacious living room with 42'' screen television. Wireless internet. Spacious kitchen. Parking spot available in driveway. Easy access to airport. House built in 1922, so there are still old Victorian touches to it. It is cozy, clean and modern, with original woodwork, windows, and some detailing from the 20s. All hardwood floors throughout the house. Fully heated with plenty of parking.
Please note, this ad is for the living room in a 2-room home. It accomodates 1 person on a comfy, large couch. The living room can be fully closed off with 3 french doors that all have blinds covering them, so there is total privacy, so it functions as a private closed-off room. Please note, however, that the doors to the living room do not have locks from the inside or outside. Couch is available for a 1-person booking.
Please check out my other listings to see the 2 rooms available:

Keep common areas clean and tidy. NO SMOKING.
The room was bigger than I expected and it was a perfect place to relax at the ocean and to discover the city. Jess answered really fast, everything was as described and I had a great time there!
I had a great time in San Francisco and one of the key reasons behind it was the comfortable stay and super location of the accommodation. To keep it simple I'd rate the place on criterion that are relevant to me-
A) the living room where I stayed : 4/5.
B) washroom (shared) : 4/5.
C) location : 5/5
D) Jess as a host: 5/5. The information she provided was concise and very much useful. Plus overall it was quite seamless.
Sunset House was very comfortable in a great location with easy access to other parts of San Francisco. The house was really clean with the exception of the bathroom, likely due to too many guests.
Unfortunately, I didn't know until the day of arrival I'd be there with two other sets of guests, instead of the posted 1 other set of guests and the host. Pablo, from Spain, ended up being a wonderful host to a home that wasn't his, to two set's of guest.
We had such a great time in San Francisco's Sunset District! It felt as we were living there, really "real"! Jess was super nice and great to communicate with, she helped us, gave us great advices for the trip. The house was so sweet, very quiet neighborhood and from our room we could even see the sea! Everything was well organized, well equipped and clean! We loved the backyard! It only takes you about 15mins by Muni to reach downtown. We would always come back to this place! Thank you Jess, it was GREAT!
