The Awarehouse is a quaint treehouse-like cottage located on 5 acres of majestic land. Close to the Yuba River you'll find picturesque trails for hiking, biking or simply meandering; and lots of options for boating and fishing nearby. Adjacent to the world-renowned spiritual community Ananda Village and walking distance to the Crystal Hermitage Gardens.

Close to Yuba river's swimming holes, hiking & mountain biking trails, cycling, fish or boat at nearby reservoir, & explore state parks.

The space
This upper 1 bdrm/1 bath 600 sq ft cozy unit faces the Tahoe National Forest and offers brilliant rays of sunset through the trees. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare home made meals. Dining table seats 4 comfortably

In the living room there is a double recliner to kick back, relax in or to enjoy movies. The propane fireplace is for ambiance or warmth in winter. Take solace in the separate multi use sunroom which has a desk and printer for remote work, if you choose, and a convertible double sleeper sofa for additional guests..

The bedroom is a queen bed that sleeps 2 people with a skylight.

The bathroom is accessible through the bedroom and filled with basic toiletries, extra linens, and towels.

The multi use sun room has a desk, meditation space and futon for additional guests.

There is a refrigerator, stove top range, microwave, toaster, oven coffee maker, onsite washer and dryer. The house is equipped with a wall AC unit in the sunroom which cools the house when needed. Although, the house stays nice and cool during the hot weather.

Pets
No cats are permitted (the owner has an allergy). We are happy to accommondate 1 dog up to 25 lbs. This is a rural area. We do not have a fence around our property. Please supervise pets at all times.

Wifi/Internet Access
Wifi is satellite which is enough for work/school, online video meetings but not for gaming or high consumption of data such as watching movies. There is free wifi available at Master’s Market 1.3 miles from the house. The market has picnic tables, snacks, coffee, and lunch as well as groceries. You can watch movies on TV from device or laptop using an HDMI cable (provided).

Wildfire Area
Safety first. No open outdoor fires, barbecues, or smoking are permitted on the property. If it is found that any substance has been smoked anywhere on the property (particularly inside the house) anywhere you will be charged $250 for smoke remediation. Please read fire evacation procedures.

Please use our instructions for directions to the house. There is a steep gravel road to gravel drive way.

Absolutely no drugs and no parties.
Quiet hours are 9 PM to 7AM.
No shoes in the house.
