Fab 1BR Big Deck + Hot Tub + Views

House - Private room · Kansas St, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States

Enjoy San Francisco's sunniest neighborhood, Potrero Hill, in this charming Mediterranean style retreat complete with fabulous views of Downtown, ATT Park, and Twin Peaks. Take in the views from the always ready hot tub. Ask me about Giant's Tix!

The Space

This top-floor bedroom features a comfy European Sleepworks queen bed, fine linens and towels, desk, closet and wireless internet.

Off the bedroom is a very large sunny deck with stunning views of Twin Peaks to the west as well as the East Bay, AT&T Park and Downtown.

The backyard Hot Tub is not to be missed. It is always hot and ready for your enjoyment. The views are phenomenal: Twin Peaks, Downtown, and even the top of the Golden Gate Bridge.

You'll access a large and luxurious sky-lit bathroom featuring a large shower with 2 heads. The bathroom is between the two guests bedrooms (the other bedroom is down the hall). There is additional full bathroom available downstairs (on the main level) if necessary.

The house is set away from the street with a gracious front patio/garden. Despite its convenient location, the home is very quiet. In addition, I've installed an electronic front door lock for your convenience.

Guest Access

You are welcome to use the kitchen (always for breakfast and snacks, but please coordinate with me for other meals). In addition you are welcome to relax in the living room and outdoor patios too. Let me know if you need access to the washer and dryer as well.

Interaction with Guests

I'll be in the home to help with any questions about the home and San Francisco. My master suite is on the bottom floor providing great privacy for all.

The Neighborhood

Potrero Hill is not only known for its sunny weather but also for its friendly vibe. A variety of restaurants and bars are in walking distance. Whole Foods is an easy amble down the hill.

Getting around

Potrero Hill offers easy access to the hot Mission District, AT&T Park, SoMa, and Downtown - all are walkable and the area is well served by city transit. Sitting between highways 101 and 280 access to the rest of the city and the entire Bay Area is easy. Lyft and Uberx provide easy accessible taxi-like service. Plentiful parking outside the home (no permit required). 85 Walk Score!

  • Beautiful home with well-appointed furnishings and fabulous art. Exceeded only by the views. Fran creates an ambience that is informal and warm. Easy to the city.

  • We enjoyed our stay in San Francisco - the house is very attractive, and Fran welcoming. The room was rather smaller than we had expected, but adequate for our needs, and it opened onto the deck giving welcome outdoor space. The Potrero Hill area is calm and beautiful, but does not have easy transport links to downtown - or at least we didn't find them.

  • Fran's place is a beautiful house perched on Potrero Hill, with stunning views of the harbor and city. The hot tub in the back garden is just fabulous!

  • Hidden heaven in Potrero Hill. Lovely house, views, host. I can't say too strongly what a welcoming, pleasant and relaxing stay this was. (Bonus: Only a few blocks from the Anchor Steam Brewery, one of the best ways in SF to spend a lazy afternoon.)

  • Fran is a very gracious, friendly and accommodating host.
The facilities are excellent, the views amazing.
The electronic lock makes things easy.
    Will definitely stay again.

  • Wonderful stay in a comfortable house. I was in the Bay Area for most of the week making business calls up and down highway 101. The house was very convenient to the freeway. I could get off just before the traffic backup into the city.
Great room and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! I had the room that allows you to walk out on the deck, a great way to wake up to the city skyline. The bathroom is just down the hall and is spotless and large. Never ran into the occupants of the other room. :-) I will be staying here again.
    I will stay here again.

  • Fran's home was one of the most beautiful place I've ever stayed. It's situated on a hill, allowing for 360 views from the upstairs balconies. It was immaculately clean and tastily decorated. My biggest regret was not going in the hot tub due to a busy conference schedule. Highly recommended.

  • My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Fran's. The home is well decorated with beautiful artwork and felt like a "home away from home". Guests will enjoy the jacuzzi tub and views over the city and valley. The location is in walking distance of great restaurants and there is plenty of parking. We will definitely be back to enjoy it again! Thank you Fran for all the information and helpful tips!

  • Fran's house is fabulous - its Spanish charm and paintings are very impressive. It's like a brand new house. It is located in one of the best blocks of Potrero Hill with easy access for street parking. I recommend other guest to stay at Fran's house.

About
I'm a Bay Area Internet Entrepreneur and Marketer serving as board advisor to a range of small companies and non-profits. I enjoy meeting new entrepreneurs and business people as well as tourists and work hard to be sure everyone has a positive experience. My two homes are both in cities named by the Spanish for Saint Francis of Assisi: San Francisco and Santa Fe (Santa Fe's full name is La Villa Real de la Santa Fé de San Francisco de Asís (“The Royal Town of the Holy Faith of St. Francis of Assisi”). My primary home is in Potrero Hill in San Francisco. I love the home's gardens and fantastic views which you can see from five different patios or decks. My guests enjoy the combination of luxury and elegance with comfortable charm. My second home, primarily a vacation home, is in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where I grew up. This home is truly "Santa Fe Style" with vigas (ceiling beams), Kiva fireplace, wood floors and thick adobe walls. The setting is spectacular in the heart of old Santa Fe with easy access to the museums, art, hiking trails, and plaza.
