Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Very rarely does lodging exceed my expectations, but this one definitely did. The room was large and full of light, tastefully decorated, and had a HUGE bathroom. Other nice touches were hardwood floors, large windows looking out on a woodsy landscape and lawn, stained glass over the soaking tub, and 2 big comfortable chairs. A nice place to hang out and read or sit by the fire. Deer grazed several feet from the window. Morical House is on a busy street, so there's traffic noise if you're on the street side of the main house--request a room in the back or the carriage house if you want quiet. You'll be about a mile from the center of Ashland, so it's an easy, flat walk to the theater and pretty much everything. We come to Ashland often and will definitely stay here again.

  • Sophisticated and elegant simplicity in a classic Victorian residence just about describes the experience. I only stayed there for one night but could easily see myself spending a whole week. The entire experience was flawless. Alicia was great!

  • Alicia was a most welcoming host, offered info about Ashland and cooked wonderful 3 course organic breakfasts. Our room was large and attractive, had a big spa tub and basics for food i.e. microwave, coffee maker, fridge. There was a serene Asian feel to the decor that I loved. It was a pleasant place to walk, to town or around her gardens. We had wine, cheese and snacks on the garden deck that has a wide view of the valley below. The community space had tea, ice, glasses and a pleasant place to sit and enjoy the fire in the rain. It was the exact opposite of the white bread motel we had slept in the night before. We definitely will return.

  • We had a great stay at the Morical. The breakfasts are amazing, delicious 3 courses, healthy and tasty, like a little dinner. It's all very clean and quiet. We had a lovely room at the top with our own large bathroom, very comfortable. A great place to stay when in Ashland. I would definitely come back.

  • The breakfasts were spectacular and the house and grounds very congenial. A nice walk down to the shows at OSF.

  • Excellent BnB. Lovely home and beautiful (email hidden)ose to downtown, walking distance. Breakfasts were amazing. Highly recommend!

  • Our stay and the Morical House was lovely. The room was spacious, comfortable and decorated with flair. Alicia could not have been a more gracious host. Her breakfasts were memorable. We particularly enjoyed quiet evenings sitting on the patio that is purched on a rock outcropping looking at the lovely hills in the distance. We will definitely visit again!

  • Charming and inviting. Although only here for a few short hours traveling between Mount Shasta and my early flight out of Medford I was overjoyed with the charm the met me when I arrived.
I had been on a fairly active schedule the past weekend without cell or internet. The sanctitude of this setting allowed me to peacefully unwind and catch up before heading back home.
A beautiful fawn greeted me on the property. She and I enjoyed some precious moments together I will forever cherish!
I embrace the opportunity to visit again.

  • Our 4-day stay at Morical House Garden Inn could not have been better! We were within walking distance (20 min.) of Downtown, Lithia Park, and OSF. Everything about our accommodation was comfortable -- the bed (and bedding!), toiletries (locally made soap), lovely bathroom and A/C (it was 100 degree weather during our stay). The tea bar, wineglasses, ice & ice buckets were such a convenience. We spent every late afternoon on the deck at the back of the garden. Despite the heat wave -- we really appreciated the garden ambiance. Alicia was incredibly helpful with suggestions for a therapeutic massage when I mentioned a problem with back spasm from driving. We will try to make this an annual visit after this wonderful experience.

  • This is the cutest B&B imaginable!! We loved Alicia and her staff, and the breakfast was incredibly delicious--polenta topped with grilled onions, kale, and prosciutto. Tea, ice, and water are always available. It felt as though we were the only ones staying at the Morical House that weekend; it was so quiet! The grounds are gorgeous, the rooms are spotless and comfy, and it's a nice walk to downtown. We'll definitely be back!
