The suite was very clean and comfortable!
It was very close to town and we had a great time relaxing in the hammock in the garden.
The room was adorable and so were the grounds. It was a nice walk to downtown! Alicia was easy to contact and made our stay very relaxed.
We arrived late in the evening after a long drive from Yosemite. We found all the information we needed to make ourselves at home. The house is very tastefully decorated and welcoming, and our bedroom ultra comfortable. It was a short stay, but we hope to be back again. We met Alicia in the morning, and she was super friendly. I had not made arrangements for breakfast, regretfully, as it looked soooo good...but more to look forward to next time! Thank you Alicia!
This was my second visit to Alicia's place. And it was just as good as the first visit. Alicia was quick to respond/confirm and make sure we had everything lined up. The house was extremely clean yet warm, and provisioned with thoughtful incidentals (great tea bar!). The location is convenient and secluded with a garden-like atmosphere. Loved it and will be back for sure!
We arrived to find an envelope with our key and a delightful note to welcome us and help orient us to Ashland. Alicia had assembled an assortment of brochures, maps, and a scrapbook full of menus on a table in the entry. We noticed a well-appointed living room and a bright, cheerful dining room set for breakfast. There was a small guest refrigerator and an ice maker on the main floor, with a small sink and wide selection of teas, cups and biscotti!
Our room was one floor up, and it was perfect! The bed was very comfortable, with windows on two sides, and we enjoyed a glorious sunset after we unpacked.
The next morning we had the best coffee in Ashland right here in the dining room, and we met Alicia. She told us the painter was coming and would be working outside our room, so she offered a complimentary upgrade to the largest room in the house, a suite on the third floor. We eagerly accepted her generosity.
That was typical of our wonderful stay at Morical House. Alicia is a fantastic host and has created a peaceful, relaxing environment in the main house, outbuildings, and lush garden. Every room offers beautiful views while being very private. We highly recommend the Morical House for a stay in Ashland!
The room was very clean and well decorated and was located in a beautiful old house on nice grounds. Everything met expectations and we felt that this place was a great value relative to other more pricey B&Bs in Ashland. The locations was great as it was a short bike ride away from the downtown area.
