I was very happy with my stay here! The main house has a lot of character and charm, which I really enjoyed. It was also quite clean and tidy. Alicia is quick to respond to texts/emails and very accommodating. I could hear the road noise (mostly just the hum of cars and trucks going by), but eventually I stopped noticing it. The only other thing to know is that noise travels well in the main house (rooms one through five). From my room I could hear people in their own rooms chatting, walking on the hardwood floors, and coming and going out the front door. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs. All in all, I think it's a great place to stay, and the charm and character make up for some of the quircks.
We had a lovely stay at the Morical House. The facility is cozy and welcoming and we had no problems checking in or out. Ashland is a fun town to visit and we will be back someday.
What a lovely decorated place. About a one mile walk to down town. Alicia was very accommodating and super sweet. Enjoyed laying out on the portable hammock at night watching the stars :) would definitely come back.
The accommodations were great and the walk into town was quick and Alicia was welcoming. Highly recommend this listing.
Alicia was a great host, and the BnB was adorable - and it is more a true BnB. We stayed in the carriage house for a night, and I definitely wanted to stay an extra day. Would highly recommend if you're visiting Ashland, especially in the summer since they have a deck with a gorgeous view of the valley. Thanks for a great stay!
Really great place to stay! A/C, a big room, comfy bed and fridge made us very happy. The location is good, either a really short drive or moderate walk to the main area of Ashland.
We really enjoyed our stay at Morical House. It's well hidden off the main road so a little challenging to find, but once you're there it's wonderful. We stayed in the main home and for the first few days had it all to ourselves! I briefly met Alicia and she was very nice and welcoming. Great little jewel in Ashland and would definitely return again.
