Great place to stay. Very nice and contemporary unit, larger and renovated but in a nice woodsy setting. Gracious and generous host went above and beyond for valentines weekend. Stay here.
The Morical House was wonderful! We arrived late evening to an easy check-in process and a beautiful room waiting for us. We stayed in one of the carriage house rooms that had a lovely front and back porch looking out onto the grounds of the main house. The bed was amazingly comfortable, and there was even a gas fireplace and a jacuzzi tub! Beautifully kept room, and a coffee pot with coffee grounds for us to get our morning started easily. I only wish we could have stayed another night, and look forward to visiting again next time we come through Ashland.
Our off-season stay at The Morical House was perfect. Alicia put us in a beautiful suite in the carriage house, and we loved it. The lofted ceiling, fireplace, jacuzzi tub, and comfy bed were just some of the highlights. The property is beautiful and well maintained. There were lots of little details that made our stay on a chilly autumn night so pleasant. I highly recommend staying at this unique inn!
We spent 3 nights at Morecal House and could not be happier with our experience! Our key was waiting for us as promised and we took immediate advantage of the Tea Bar to warm ourselves up (Ashland was quite rainy when we arrived). Alicia had so very kindly upgraded us to a suite, which proved to be beautiful, comfortable and perfect for watching the Giants in the World Series. The deer grazing in the yard each morning was a special treat. We will most certainly book with Alicia when we visit Ashland next spring.
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Morical House. We were only there one night, but the check in/check out process was smooth and our room was very nice. We also walked to the Shakespeare festival and it was an easy, safe walk.
This was a beautiful rental - more than I expected. I had a room in the carriage house of the Morial Inn. Right on Main St in the North End of town made it easy to find, and an easy drive into Ashland. The room is very spacious - more a studio apartment than a private room. There is a kitchenette with small refrigerator and micro-wave, an enormous bathroom with walk-in shower and jetted soaking tub, and a very comfortable bed. Beautifully decorated space, with lovely architecture. Of special note are the grounds of the Inn. They are set up for relaxing and include many seating areas, a hammock, and a deck with views over the mountain. The rental also came with access to the main house and the living spaces there. Gracious and charming.
