  • We loved the pleasant walk downtown.

  • Our accommodations at Alicia's in Ashland far exceeded our expectations. I've traveled a lot and I think this is the best accommodation I've experienced. Our room had a fireplace, high rafted ceiling, cosy reading nook and huge bathroom with both shower and jacuzzi tub. Our carriage house looked out onto beautiful gardens with hammock, deck and lots of cozy nooks.
The location was a short walk from the hub of Ashland activities, we hardly used the car when we were there.
Alicia greeted us on our first morning and was very nice.
We well definitely be returning to Ashland and I know where we'll be staying!

  • Delightful stay in charming setting. It was the perfect Mother/Daughter getaway weekend. Alicia was friendly, our room and bathroom were comfortable and clean. The house was quiet at night. We walked to the downtown and plays easily. We appreciated the tea bar and ice machine. Toiletries in the bathroom were an added appreciated touch. It is definitely worth a return trip.

  • Alice's place was clean. I wish it had been closer to town to walk. We didn't meet her till we were leaving.

  • Very comfortable, convenient, and pretty B&B in a large old house. We stayed two nights and were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the garden out back -- it was a great place to hang out, with a nice view of the valley and mountains to the east.

  • My daughter and I were travelling from the Bay Area and arrived in Ashland around 10:30pm so we did not get to meet Alicia until the next morning. She had emailed detailed instructions for getting to and entering the house. Our upstairs room was beautifully decorated and the bed was super comfy. The only downside for me personally was that I am a light sleeper and the noise from the road kept me awake most of the night (my daughter slept very well). We did not do the breakfast as we were continuing our journey to Portland. I would definitely stay there again.

  • The property was nice, the room adequate. Location was within walking distance from downtown Ashland ( a little less than 1 mile). We only spoke with Alicia briefly but she was very nice and willing to help with dinner reservations. Overall, our stay was very pleasant.

  • Was able to get a confirmed reservation only a day before arrival as we were on a road trip without a set itinerary. House and room were just as described, very clean, relaxed and classy. It had the styling and amenities of a modern B&B. Check in time was flexible but we were lucky to meet Alisha in person. She gave us a quick and complete tour of the house and common areas, offered guidance for getting around Ashland and dinner tips since we had no reservations. Room was quiet and bed was very comfortable. Excellent value!

  • I really enjoyed my stay in Ashland at the Modern Botanical Setting home. Alicia was flexible with my arrival time, and provided a clean and warm environment. It is nicely situated near town. Will be back!

  • We never met Alicia until we were leaving. If we had signed up for breakfast, it would have made our stay a bit more personal. But as it was, the room was comfortable and had a nice view of the spacious garden surrounding the main building. The location is ideal for access to downtown Ashland.
