Our stay in Piera's place was really wonderful. Roma is amazing; and our room was excelent: Comfortable, big, cousy, warm and really clean. The bathroom was out the room, but was only for us and it was perfect. Really hot water, and very comfortable. Something special is the aera; Il Trastevere for going out and having a beer in the night was beatifull. We loved Roma, and for sure we will return to Piera's place. She and her sister were very lovely with us.
The Price was ok, but it is important to know that you have to add 2 euros per person, per day, for a kind of turist tax...
We had a wonderful stay! We were traveling with our 1 1/2 year old daughter. The apartment is very well located, with walking distance to most of the historical sites (and the tram just outside the door). The area around is also very nice, with lots of cafés and restaurants just around the corner. The room was clean, and Piera and Francisca was always helpful and easy to communicate with. Highly recommanded!
Loved this B&B! To start, Piera was immensely helpful upon my arrival, accommodating me with a car service from the airport for a reasonable price and greeting me with maps of the city and lots of useful information about the Trastevere neighborhood. My private room was extremely spacious and clean with a large window and lots of sunlight. Although the street noise was a bit loud at night, it was nothing that couldn't be rectified with a set of ear-plugs. The building's wifi worked flawlessly and I found the other guests to be friendly and considerate of my space.
About the neighborhood: If you have any knowledge of NYC, consider Trastevere the Williamsburg, Brooklyn of Rome; the bars and restaurants stay open until the early hours of the morning, the narrow, cobble stoned streets are lined with all kinds of boutiques and shops, its population is made up almost exclusively of young, bohemian types, and the heart of Rome is just a 15 minute walk over The Tiber river. It's a true gem.
If I find myself planning another trip to Rome one day, and I sincerely hope to, I will definitely book a room at Piera's B&B.
We liked this place a lot. We needed a location very central while we looked for a long term rental in Rome and this place was perfect. It is THE best location. Right on a Tram line that runs into the historic center (Navonna, Pantheon) and bus lines that run into the ancient part of town (Colloseum etc).
They were also flexible about checkout.
The only downside is that the rooms face the loud street and tram line. If you're a light sleeper, be warned, the tram runs until about midnight and it is quite loud. Also, we didn't mind but it has a shared bathroom for some (all?) 4 rooms. It was clean and nice but worth noting.
Otherwise, we highly recommend this place.
We spent one night
Location is good
We arrived late night and were picked up from the airport and a friendly face expected us the apartment
The room was clean and bathroom( although shared ) nice and clean
We will be back
We had a nice stay at the b&b. At start we were picked up at the airport. But it is also perfect to arrive by public transport. The tram and bus stops almost across the street.
The room was very clean. We had our own bathroom which was perfectly held clean. It is at night some noisy because of the washingmachine and tram. Bring some earplugs and you will have a perfect sleep!
Francesca was very helpful for all kind of questions. Always time for a smill and a little help.
The breakfast is outside at a café bar. We did like the coffee and croissant. If you need more than one item, you will have to realize it yourself.
The tax which you had to pay at arrival is the normal touristtax. It is nice if Piera will communicate about it at her airbnb page.
we had a very nice time in rome and at pieras place. the room was very good. everything was clean and nice. piera and her team were very nice and helpful, and we had no problems. the only negative point was the noise from the street. you just need some oropax for your ears, then its ok and you get used to it. all in all it was really ok!
I had to stay in the center of Rome for only two nights and this BnB is very suitable. The hosts were very friendly, the room is clean, but a little bit noisy. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes in Trastevere and many historical places around. It is worth the money.
The place is big, clean and good. They only have one bathroom for 5 rooms but I didn't have a problem with that. The breakfast was OK, but they have specific our, so if you go out really early, there's not much you are going to find. The real uncomfortable situation was that Piera ask for more money per night and per person in the room because a "tax thing".
This is the final rate, including any fees from the host and Airbnb.
