Mas du Grand Ciel is a delightful 18th Century stone farmhouse cocooned in lush, enchanting gardens which surround the sparkling waters of a large pool. The walled gardens provide complete privacy and absolute calm. Charm and a characterful heritage have been carefully preserved throughout, combining authenticity with spacious, stylish accommodation and modern facilities. Relax in this beautiful and truly magical setting, ideal for family and friends, set in the beautiful Uzès Countryside

The space
GENERAL

The Mas du Grand Ciel presents ~400sqm of living space with old stone or terracotta tiled floors and offers a garden plot of ~1900sqm including a pool and covered pool house area. Inside, the generous living room and dining hall provide plenty of seating for the entire household should you wish to retire from the gardens.

BEDROOMS AND SHOWER/BATHROOMS
There are 6 double, air-conditioned, bedrooms, 3 of which have ensuite shower rooms and one which has its own adjacent bathroom. Two of the bedrooms share a shower room and WC. There is a ground floor WC with a sink. So, a total of 5 bathrooms in the house and there is a further shower room with WC in the pool house in the garden by the pool.

All bedrooms have a king-size double bed apart from one which has twin beds.

All bed linen, bathroom towels, pool towels, and kitchen linen are provided and included in the price.

One of the bedroom suites has its own suspended terrace with lovely views and direct access to the garden plus it includes an office with a desk, chair and printer.

A fibre internet connection is available throughout the house and most of the garden.

There are 2 television screens in the house. It should be noted that our internet service does not provide a television option therefore access to tv material will be by 'casting' from your device/s or by a hdml cable(provided) connection to it.

All bedrooms have air conditioning; the living areas do not. However, like all old stone farmhouses in the South, it was designed to stay cool in the heat of the summer.

GARDEN FACILITIES
Large 13m x 5m heated swimming pool with safety alarm.
'Poolhouse' incorporating: Kitchen, 80m² pergola shaded sitting area and dining space, Poolside shower room with WC.
Large terraces and lawns provide numerous sunbathing, dining and shaded seating areas. There is comfortable armchair seating under the shaded outdoor sitting room, dining tables, plenty of sun loungers (with mattresses) and chairs.
BBQ and Plancha
Parking for 3 cars by the garage. The area is secured by stone walls and an electronically operated gate.

Generally, as the Mas is our home and contains many personal items, has stone floors, old stone staircases, multi-level gardens, gravel, pond etc, we do not consider it suitable for young children. However, in some circumstances, we do consider children over 6 years old, so please consult us.
