The Space

The Green Room at Pine Point Bed & Breakfast is a spacious room with triple aspect. It has a double bed, a single bed and an en suite bathroom with bath & shower.

£95 is the cost for double occupancy for one night

Pine Point is my fabulous 1960's architect designed house with amazing sea views. It is furnished in a laid back mix of vintage and quirky contemporary.
It's bed and breakfast Jim, but not as we know it. Think boutique guesthouse rather than seaside landlady. Our bed linen is pure cotton and our hot water continuous.
Each room has teas/coffees/mineral water/biscuits etc.
Breakfast is buffet style with cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, cheeses, eggs etc.
Ventnor is by far the best place to visit on the island which itself is one of ‘the world’s hippest hangouts’ according to Harper’s Bazaar Magazine.
There's great food, (from fine dining to crab on the beach), quirky shops and stunning coastal walks.
The island has festivals and carnivals galore or you can just chill on the sun deck - we have a micro climate in Ventnor and get more sunshine than anywhere else in Britain - fact!

NB A very cute wire fox terrier/sheep cross lives at Pine Point.

  • Had a great experience in Ventnor, very nice room and breakfast! Debby also provided very good information on good resturants and what to do in the area. Highly recommended.

  • Enjoyed our short stay with Debbie. The room was great, with 60's furniture, and superb views over the English Channel. The restaurant we chose on the seafront was recommended by Debbie ,and served lovely fresh food.Next time we would love to stay longer

  • Spotless, light, airy and very comfortable. Loved the fruit basket, the abundance of teas and coffee in the room and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you Debby.

  • Many thanks for hosting us Debby during our recent stay!

The standard of the accommodation was exceptional (especially the bathroom), the views amazing and the atmosphere inviting. Breakfast overlooking the sea was lovely.

It was easy to find and within walking distance to Ventnor and Steephill cove (where they have a number of small restaurants and cafes serving fresh crab).

Hopefully we will be able to return soon!

  • We had a lovely time staying with Debby at Pinepoint. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated, with great sea-views. She is a perfect host, giving us great advice about what to see and where to eat. We'll be back!

    Highly recommended.

  • Superb place to stay. More like a boutique hotel than a B&B. Would highly recommend.

  • We've recently returned from a great weeks stay at Debby B & B in Ventnor, great location, views. Our room was spacious which is great as we had our 2 year old daughter with us.

This was my first stay in a B & B for more than one night and its not like any B & B I've stayed in before, spotlessly clean, nice fresh linen, a brand new large bathroom with shower and bath.

We had a great healthy breakfast everyday including Debby 's own handmade Banana Bread (nice!) and yogurts, stewed fruits, cheese, bread selection, and even boiled eggs from Debby's own chickens!

Would highly recommended and if we were to return to the Isle of Wight, I'd certainly book again, Debby is a friendly host and made our stay most enjoyable. Hayley the house keeper kept our room ready for our return everyday from the beach and have tips on what to do to amuse our 2 year old.

Born and bred in London, I moved to Ventnor, Isle of Wight, in 2001 when I found my wow factor 60's home with 180 degree sea views. It was the best move I've ever made and, as the house is pretty spacious, I can now share it with guests. I also have two self-catering homes, one in Ventnor, one in Shanklin. With a background in vintage/design/PR/retail, I host my places to the high standard that I'd want if I were the traveller. I also know a heck of a lot about the IOW - where to go and what to do - and I'm the sort of person who likes to pass on all the hints and tips!
