The physical space was as advertised. However, the host did not meet me at the door with the key as we had agreed on the phone. Instead, i arrived as soon as i could from my flight to find she had gone away and could "not return from a friend's for dinner" until 11 pm. Her kind neighbor let me put my luggage in her place while i went out into quite a torrent of rain in search of supper. Not a good beginning.
I had a very pleasant say with Camille. The rom was clean and tidy and the bathroom very clean. The rules were not over bearing and easy to adhere to. The area is safe and 8min's walk to the nearest Metro which takes you everywhere.
Camille also takes pride in the appearance and workings of her apartment and whilst I was staying there she was performing maintenance on the room and bathroom.
She, and her family was very polite and it was nice having a friendly face to come "home" to after a long day in New York.
Simple and strict rules to adhere to and this is A must whilst using Airbnb(for both parties) so as to ensure pleasant and hospitable enviroment. Would stay with Camille again as the hotels in New York are insane and unreasonably priced.
The bedroom is big and well ventilated, the bed is comfortable, the facilities are discrete and the block is quiet. Fridge space is available and the wifi works. It's not 5 star and you're not about to join the family, but it is good value for money and Camille is polite, decisive, intelligent and candid. She'll respect your ,so you should respect hers in turn.
This apartment was exactly as described on site. Camille was very nice and stay was acceptable.
Camille was a very courteous host. The room is big and spacious with lots of closet space. The apt is clean and well kept.
The room in Camille’s apartment is a good option for people who want to discover NY for moderate price. It is not very close to Manhattan, but connections by public transport are convenient, neighbourhood is diverse and inspiring. Camille is a good and discrete homeowner.
Camille was a great host. If your looking for a place to stay in NY then look no further. Her place is nice, clean and quiet..what more could you ask for? Highly recommend your next stay here!
