This a newly furnished family vacation home, super cozy, and ready to host about 3 couples, or two families, or 6 friends! From the master bedroom guests can hear Bailey Brooke, the property 's very own waterfall. This bedroom has a queen size bed and crib if needed.
The second bedroom has a full bottom bunk bed (fits two adults comfortably) and top bunk for one person/child.
The loft has a new sofa bed for two guests and children have slept in the large chair with ottoman.
We love our cozy camp in the woods and when we need to see really cool people we drive 15 minutes north into Waitsfield for Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings, or down south 15 mins to Rochester for Season's Bookstore cafe...(YUMMY! Meet Sandy! She's a unique cooking talent to VT!), or to a glam den-ish dinner at Warren's Pitcher Inn. Of course we ski Sugarbush with the crowds, or we go for the gold with the mad locals at Mad River's Single Chair Lift.
Please enjoy our precious house! The moose do!
We expect the home to be respected and left clean. Enjoy our home and wilderness!
We drink bottled (email hidden)o many minerals in our well water. Please take your trash/recycling with you! We and you don't want mice! Shut off mice deterrent device, (you'll hear it) in basement. Turn on water for laundry...easy - one handle by washer/dryer in basement. Please leave private family things alone in the basement.

It was my second time in Anna's beautiful house, this time I took not only my husband but also my dad who is visiting me in New-England from Germany for just 16 days. We were all delighted! We spent one of our five days in Vermont just sitting on Anna's deck all day, admiring the wonderfully colored woods around us, the peace and quiet of the property and the fully equipped kitchen to prepare a great dinner. The other days we discovered the villages and valleys around Granville. The area is very charming and the location of the house great. (Even Burlington is just a 80 min. drive away.) The house itself is cosy and well kept and has everything one needs even when for staying a longer time. Anna has been very reliable and nice and accommodating and everything was easy.
We recommend this house very highly and would love to stay again.
I stayed at the Little Yellow House over New Years weekend and it was fantastic. The house was clean and beautiful, fully appointed and the property was incredible. A small stream flows right along side with a beautiful waterfall that partially freezes over in the winter. The house is private and you feel like you are in a winter paradise. Great fireplace with plenty of wood, working wifi, awesome sound system and washer-dryer were some of our high points. Anna's suggestions with respect to local restaurants and attractions were terrific and logistically, the house was all set up when we arrived. Thanks again Anna, my girlfriend and I would surely stay again!
We loved the quietness of the location of the house. The surroundings were soothing and just what we were looking for. The house was just right for us two couples. The kitchen area was clean and easy to work in. We missed a dinner table to have breakfast and dinner at - but that may just be our cultural preference.
We felt that it was easy to communicate with Anna and appreciated the uncomplicated way to get into the house. We got a sense of hospitality from her, even though she wasn't physically present.

While I've been to the Mad River Valley several times before and already fallen in love with the area, this was my first time staying in Anna's little yellow house. It was perfect! I stayed with my father and two brothers, and we each had our own bed and plenty of space. The house has a beautiful deck and is surrounded by lush (website hidden)'s ideal if you are looking for a quiet, secluded respite in a beautiful part of New England. Thank you, Anna!

About the Host, Anna
Hi! We are a clean sun-loving San Diego family of 3. We try to live as bi-coastal-y as possible, visiting our Vermont home at least two seasons a year. We love when our friends travel or live away so that we can visit great new places like Puerto Rico, Oahu, Hi, or Rhode Island to Montreal! We have a sweet life and sweet home, includiing tropical and green yard/space and we look forward to hosting you on your short stay in San Diego (our primary home), or a long stay in our rural and charming VT home. We keep our finger on the pulse of all cool local events and venues, even though we're moms!
