No Room for Bears: Lock It Up!
Please be mindful of bears in the area and take a few precautions to ensure your safety. Remember to keep your car doors locked as bears sometimes try to enter vehicles. It’s also important to secure the house by keeping food and waste stored safely as bears can occasionally wander in if accessible. Stay safe and enjoy your time here!

Guests access the property via keyless entry. Detailed information will be emailed within 24 hr prior to check-in.
Other things to note

We do not offer refunds for weather. Fortunately, the cottage and Gatlinburg are ready for you in rain, snow or shine!
Hot tub is for adults only, guests under 18 require adult supervision. Please refrain from using hot tub if you are pregnant. No alcohol near hot tub. We do our best to ensure cleanliness and have the hot tub serviced prior to every guest arrival, however we cannot guarantee that skin reactions/infections may not occur. Please shower prior to use, and please use at your own risk.
Children should be accompanied by adults while on decks.
No fires inside or outside the property at any time. Unauthorized fires (including candles), will be charged a fee at a minimum of $100.
No pets of any kind, please. There is an additional charge of a minimum of $100 for pets that are snuck into the cottage.
No smoking inside the premises or within 20 ft of all doors. A minimum charge of $500 will be assessed for any damages related to smoking, including odor.
No parties or events. A minimum charge of $500 will be assessed for parties.
No illegal activities.
There is one outdoor camera overlooking the driveway that must be visible at all times for worker/patron safety purposes.
PLEASE NOTE REGARDING CAMERAS:
There are NO cameras inside of the property interior. The only camera is on the outside of the house for security. If you do find any items that you are suspicious of that may appear to be a camera, please notify us IMMEDIATELY and take photos of anything suspicious. We are committed to your safety.
Renter Agreement Contract and Security Deposit:
As part of our new management group, we are asking renters to sign our rental agreement and for a security deposit. This is standard protocol for the owner's protection of their private home and for the proper upkeep of the property for all future guests. The deposit is drawn 3 days prior to your arrival, and as long as there are no serious damages, it is returned to your credit card on the third day after your departure. Please let us know if there are any questions with these requests. Thank you!
