My boyfriend and I stayed here for a 3 night stay, this being both of our first time using AirBnB, and it couldn't have been more perfect! Perfect location, everything we wanted to do was only 10/ 15 min away. It was a clean, private and very cozy. Would definitely recommend it and stay there again if I were in Portland!
The little oasis guest house was just as lovely as the photos. It was clean and ready for our arrival. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, and the bus stop very close by. It's quite a small space, but has everything you could want. I never actually met Colin or Medina, but they checked on us via airbnb messages. We would definitely stay here again!
This little hideaway was perfect for our trip. The things included with the room actually far exceeded what was listed in the listing. We were first timers in Portland, so a little more research would have shown us that it would have been wise to rent a car to reach places like downtown easier. That said, we walked to the MAX one day (about 1.6 miles) and to a bike shop another day (also about 1.6 miles). The surrounding neighborhood felt safe, and the houses all have such lovely personalities. Colin checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, which we did. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend it.
We loved staying in this adorable guest house. The interior was clean and new, and the location was great—just a short walk to Alberta Arts District and near lots of bus lines to take us downtown. I was worried that it was going to be cold since it's a backyard cottage, but Colin and Medina have an awesome heater in there that kept things cozy. We would definitely stay there again!
It was very welcoming, there was a very informative packet right when I walked in and Colin checked in to make sure my stay was going well.
Location is perfect if you are going to be in NE Portland. Whole Foods is about 2 blocks away and there are many restaurants close. The cottage is super quiet and you're completely undisturbed. It's really ideal for one person. Made a very enjoyable stay for me.
The garden guest house is perfect for a short stay in Portland. Although it's on the smaller side, it has everything you need! The pull out sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable; I slept like a baby. The location is key! It's super close to Whole Foods, local cafés and coffee shops, and within walking distance to Alberta street. Colin and Medina were very friendly and accommodating making sure I had everything I needed. They even let me check in a little early in order to make it to my job interview. I would definitely stay here again!

The Guest House was inspired by many years of traveling and living in different parts of the world with a backpack or in a camper van. I wanted to create something that reminded me of a bungalow in Bali or a bamboo hut in Thailand and also design a small space that functions well. We still travel often and are currently restoring a cottage in France
