Grey Alders farm-based B&B: double.

Private room in house hosted by Judy N Stephen
2 guests1 bedroom1 bed1 bath
Breakfast
This is one of a few places in the area that has this feature.
Please note you can INSTANT BOOK without pre-approval. Grey Alders B&B is warm and welcoming in a quiet rural setting with lovely scenery. The only noise is from the stream behind the house, the birds chirping away, and sheep cropping the grass.

The space
This double guest room with en-suite shower is in our new timber-framed eco-friendly lodge and is finished to hotel standard.
There are integral wall lights above the beds and a view overlooking our fields, trees and waterfall with the stream flowing by.
Please note the pricing is per room.
(We also have a twin-bedded room with en-suite shower, separately listed as Grey Alders on Airbnb, so if there are more than two of you, or you want separate bedrooms, you can easily make two bookings.)
There are tea making facilities and a kettle in both rooms.
You also have a 32" TV with all Freeview channels.
Breakfast is served in our large kitchen-diner.
A cooked breakfast is available with egg, bacon, sausage, mushrooms and tomatoes and as much toast as you can eat. Tea and coffee is also available.
Fruit juice is always not-from-concentrate, milk is full-fat, eggs are always free range and from our hens when they are laying, sausage is minimum 70% pork, bread is always oven-baked and jam and marmalade are home-made, from local produce when available.
Please find us on the biggest social media site as GreyAlders.

Guest access
You are welcome in the kitchen / lounge / tv area. There is free Wi-Fi on site. You won't be able to watch a video on it, but you will be able to keep up with your emails and do basic browsing. You are also welcome to walk around the farm on the various fields and you can go down to the river at the bottom of the farm. And then walk back up again...
Just make yourself at home.
There is a disabled-access toilet and washbasin in the hallway.

Other things to note
Judy is fluent in Swahili. Stephen has some knowledge of French.

Location

Carmarthenshire, United Kingdom

We are 13 miles from Carmarthen town with its supermarkets, bowling alley (xcel bowl) and leisure centre with swimming pool. There are good restaurants locally and in Carmarthen which also has Vue cinema, Costa Coffee, Frankie & Benny's etc. We are central to the many beautiful beaches in Carmarthenshire, on Cardigan Bay and the north, south and west Pembrokeshire Coast. There are castles and heritage sites and many activity centres. There is a great walk to Llanwinio church following in the footsteps of St Gwinio on a three mile trail on an ancient (1500 years old) road nearby. Or you can just relax, read, take a walk or watch the wildlife. This is a great site for bird-watching.
