Luca immediately made us feel welcome, he's a genuinely friendly and helpful person. Upon entering the flat it initially felt a little smaller than the pictures, but it quickly became apparent the apartment was perfect for us - clean, smart, comfortable, with a classic edge. The area is spectacular and centrally located between the Colosseum and Vatican. The best part about the location is that the eateries and nightlife of Campo de' Fiori at the end of the street, along with other piazzas nearby. As well as the morning market in Campo de' Fiori there's also a well stocked supermarket a couple of doors down if you want to stock up on local produce for home cooking. There can be a little bit of street noise at night but with shutters and solid windows and being on the second floor, it really wasn't that noticeable. Extra special thanks to Luca for fixing the front door quickly when one of the neighbours broke their key in it - he genuinely puts in the extra effort to make the stay special and hassle free. All in all, this was a wonderful stay and I fully recommend both Luca and the apartment to anyone. I'd love to be back in Rome right now! Thankyou Luca!
We had a wonderful experience with Luca and his beautiful apartment! The apartment was clean, cozy, and in a great location. We could easily walk to most of the sites around Rome, and there were so many restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk in Campo di Fiori and Trastevere – incredibly convenient location. It's worth noting that light sleepers may want to invest in a good pair of ear plugs because the apartment is located on a busy pedestrian thoroughfare which meant Friday & Saturday nights were quite noisy in the early hours of the morning. It didn't bother us at all, but it might bother some.
Luca was a great host – he met us at the apartment to let us in and gave us a map, tips on where to eat, and was just generally very nice and accommodating.
Would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a cozy apartment in an awesome location!
Unbelievably friendly and helpful was what I felt when we first met up with Luca. He greeted us in person and gave us a very useful tips around the area. A bottle of red wine was particularly a delight.
This was our third venue in Italy. Finding the place became a game for us. Following Luca's instruction and our GPS, the place is not too difficult to find. The apartment was surprisingly close to Campo de’ Fiori and only a bridge distance to Trastevere where we visited a number of excellent restaurants for traditional Italian cuisine, strongly recommend Trattoria Da TEO.
Everything in the apartment was more than perfect for a few days. And we thanks Luca for his hospitality. I definitely recommend Luca's apartment to others.
Spent 4 nights at The Medieval Studio and could not recommend it highly enough!
Fantastic location - we were able to walk everywhere (in fact, did not get a taxi/public transport once throughout our trip), and really close to Travestere (great food/drinks).
Lovely flat - very clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet for a busy area.
Luca - very nice host who was extremely helpful and accommodating (he even looked after our bags on our last day as we had a late flight!).
In all, a great way to experience Rome and I will certainly visit again.
The apartment was exactly as stated and shown. It was clean, cosy and warm and in a great setting. We had a wonderful holiday and were able to walk to all the attractions in Rome from the apartment. The buses and trams ran very close and the bus to the Vatican was virtually door-to-door. The host met us punctually and gave us a good tour of the flat, and advice on getting around Rome. It was February, so Rome was not busy, but we were able to walk home at night with no worries. I can heartily recommend this flat and this host.
