  • I highly recommend this (website hidden) husband and i stayed there for five nights and were very comfortable. Its quite spacious for two people and in an excellent area with easy access to food, wine and all the tourist sites.
Luca our host was extremely helpful before and during our stay and was just a lovely person to deal with in general.
When back in Rome we would definitely stay here again, it was perfect :-)

  • Luca is a perfect host. He was very professional, helpful and quick to reply from the time we booked until the day we arrived, and when we had a small issue with the light switches he came round straight away and sorted it out without a fuss. Luca is genuinely one of the nicest and most humble people we have met and we could instantly tell that his guests are his highest priority.

On arrival at the studio we were met by his friend who showed us around the pretty studio which is on the second floor of a medieval building. As the building is 400 years old and protected by heritage status there is no elevator so our luggage had to be carried up two flights of stairs but that was ok, especially as we found a bottle of Chianti waiting for us which was a nice touch!

The studio itself is well laid out and has plenty of space for two people. The shower is good and the washing machine came in handy. The wifi is also very fast and reliable. The bed is large and comfortable although the mattress is quite soft so it might not be suitable for those with back issues or who like a firm mattress.

In terms of location the studio is in a perfect spot, literally a couple of minutes walk from the famous Campo de' Fiori, a square which hosts a daily market and has lots of restaurants, wine bars and gelato shops around it. We thought this was convenient but quickly realised that from the studio we could actually walk to pretty much any of the sights in Rome within around 20 minutes!

The studio's location within the medieval city centre also means that there is a visual feast wherever you go. Every corner needs to be explored as you never know what you're going to find, and in the immediate vicinity of the studio are incredible churches, museums and the river.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and when it came to leaving the nearest taxi rank was conveniently just a couple of minutes walk away over the bridge at our end of the street.

  • This place was perfect for our stay in Rome. Luca really is the best -- he made everything great! He is very helpful, quick to respond, and seems to have thought through every detail. The location was ideal for us -- walking distance from all the main sights and also close to Trastevere restaurants. There was some street noise Friday night, but it didn't keep us up. Highly recommend!

  • Finding a host as Luca is really a blessing! The Goodwill of Luca is extraordinary. I do not speak English and since the first long infomei with him about this my limit and he at no time refused to accept me as guest in his apartment. Unlike sought by all means to facilitate communication with me. He responds quickly to all contacts. On check in he was there all the time in contact with the personal driver he provided for us to know if he had ever met, if we were on the way, if everything was okay. He welcomed us with fresh water (detail for me with two small children made a difference), helped us with our bags (four suitcases, stroller and handbag!) And moved between English and Spanish to make yourself understood. I would say that Luca is a person who has no fear and has an extraordinary good will. These qualities make him go beyond what most hosts would be willing to do.
And Luca is very organized and a perfectionist! The apartment is exactly as we expect it to be: clean, beautiful, organized, spacious, adequately lit and super, super, super well located! Even with children did everything on foot. We will definitely stay in the same place on another visit to Rome.
Thank you Luca for his extraordinary good will and also for your patience.
We spent great days in your property.

  • Our family had a combined work - family holiday, with a baby, in Rome for 4 nights. We wanted to book an apartment with very best location wherefrom we could easily walk anywhere we liked at anytime during our stay. Lucas Medieval Studio suited us perfectly because of the best central location, as well as the apartment itself. Luca organized also a baby crib for our doughtier which was nice. The apartment was a bit noisy at night times because of "the walk-through street" but otherwise perfect for us. Luca was very friendly, he did respond right away, was most helpful at all times plus provided us with any kind of info that we needed. He even offered us a great welcome gift of Chianti wine and an italian telephone in case of need. We did appreciate his extra help for getting some breakfast for us for our very first morning as we arrived Rome late in the evening. He was also very flexible for our timetable to arrive and departure Rome both late in the evening. We do recommend everyone to stay at his apartment(s).

  • We had a wonderful time in Rome and enjoyed our stay at Luca's apartment very much. Everything was as we had hoped, the apartment was centrally located to all the major sites and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated that Luca was able to assist us with hiring a driver to pick us up at the airport and then transport us to Civitavecchia after our 4 day stay. We appreciated as well, the use of a local cell phone if needed, and the welcome bottle of wine. We had a very positive experience. Thanks Luca!

  • Luca was standing outside waiting for us when we arrived from the (wrong) train station. He was very helpful, showed us around the apartment and how everything worked.

The apartment is beautiful and well arranged. It's in an ancient building just a block or so above the Ponte Sisto. The apartment has been completely renovated and decorated in very good taste.

We would recommend the apartment without hesitation.

  • My husband and I loved Luca's apt! It was spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, and felt like a hotel but more comfortable. The apt is very centrally located so all major sites were walkable. During the four days we spent in Rome, we never used and bus or subway and went all over the city. It was the perfect spot! I would recommend anyone to rent this place! Hope to be back sometime and say again!
