Having been staying at Helena and Jeremy's lovely house for nearly 3 months, I felt so lucky to be with such a super host in every way. Not only did they provide traveling and daily living information but also helped me a lot in my studying and my work. The house is spacious, bright, clean, well-organized and fully equipped. I live in the en-suite room with and cosy bed big window where I can see the gorgeous garden while studying and working. And their cat Purdy is so cute, sleeping in funny postures and always wandering around the garden solo. Absolutely recommended and I am looking forward to coming back again.
I can fully agree to the previous comments. I spent four weeks in Helena’s and Jeremy’s beautiful house. The view in the blooming garden while having breakfast was a perfect start into the day. I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the conversations. Also, the area is perfect for long walks or jogging along the Thames and the Canal. Thank you, Helena and Jeremy for the great time! I hope to see you soon!
The room was very quiet and comfortable, and the neighbourhood is lovely. Helena and her husband are kind and friendly hosts. Highly recommended.
I had a lovely time in Helena & Jeremy's beautiful home. The room & bathroom were perfect, but the best part of my stay was feeling heartily welcomed and taken care of by Helena & Jeremy (and their cat). I would definitely recommend staying with them if, like me, you're looking for a quiet place to stay when doing research and archive work in Oxford.
Helena and Jeremy were very nice and welcomed me into the family. I really enjoyed the breakfast together with them and exchanged cultural knowledge. That, to me, is the best experience of living with them. Why would you go visit a place without knowing the cultural background? I look forward to staying with them later too.
Absolutely wonderful! I very much enjoyed my stay with Helena and Jeremy and was sad to leave. They are so welcoming, and their home is beautiful. Location is great-- there is a bus that runs straight to city centre, so it's very easy to get to the University. And a lovely breakfast every morning! I highly recommend and hope to go back.

About the Host, Helena
I am a university lecturer and married to Jeremy who is a property consultant. We have four children who have all grown up and left home. They visit from time to time at weekends, but as we have 6 bedrooms, there is plenty of room for everyone. We love gardens and gardening as you can see.
Cheap, cheerful and the pizzas are authentic.S Parade OX2 7JL
Excellent wines, relaxing ambiance and they do light food. The coffee is great too and the seats comfortable. They have wine-tasting evenings.38 Summertown OX2 7JN
