Welcome to my home. I live in a bright, spacious 5th floor apartment in the heart of Dublin's historic centre. I'm renting out a nice clean, modern double bedroom, the perfect base to explore the city from.
You can enjoy great views of Dublin City centre on one side, and the Dublin mountains on the other, from the living room.
The apartement is recently redecorated, fully furnished, has kitchen appliances, WiFi, cable TV & DVD. You will be sharing the bathroom with me. There is a third room in the apartment with a separate ensuite bathroom which is also occasionally occupied by AirBnB guests.
You will have full use of the living room and kitchen during your stay. Bathroom is shared with one other person (me).
Interaction with Guests
I'm happy to give you advice on places to visit and things to do in Dublin and further afield. I tend to be in and out a lot for work and college, so I won't always be home but am more than happy to give you any information and advice that can help you to have a great stay in Dublin!
The apartment is a short stroll from parks, galleries, museums, Dublin Castle, Guinness Storehouse, Temple Bar, Trinity College, Grafton St / Stephen's green shopping area, George's st cafes and restaurants... and in a quiet neighbourhood so you won't be kept up at night.
Nearby amenities include a Lidl supermarket, convenience stores and a Polish deli in the same building.
We're well served by public transport, including both the Red and Green Luas (tram) lines, and we're 20 mins walk to Heuston train station if you want to head off and explore the rest of Ireland.
Other Things to Note
There are lots of guidebooks and maps at your disposal.
We try to recycle as much as possible. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment but you can use the private courtyard in our building.
Bed linen and towels are provided.
I charge 20 EUR to cover cleaning, which is already included in the total booking cost.
We tend to have a quiet atmosphere in the apartment from about 10/11pm onwards.
The front door does not lock automatically so please lock it behind you whenever leaving, or entering, the apartment - thanks!
Delphine was a very friendly host and even sat with us our first day, jotting down ideas for our stay in Dublin. We did not see her often, as we were out quite a bit, but when we did she was very friendly and helpful! We were able to park behind the building, free of charge and only needed to use our car once in our 4 days of being there; the whole city was within walking distance. The street stays pretty noisey all throughout the night, but that's through no fault of our host, just a good tip to keep in mind!
Delphine was a great host with a lovely home! The room was well prepared with plenty of maps, brochures, and handouts available for our use while planning our time in Dublin. Her home is conveniently located and is a short walk away from everything that we did while in Dublin.
Delphine was very accommodating and also very helpful in giving input and insight for visiting the city and surrounding areas. She provided great directions to her house which took the stress out of navigating a new city.
Delphine was a very friendly and knowledgable host with great suggestions on where to eat, walk, and buy whiskey. The apartment was very nice, clean, with great views of the city and the hillside.
The room was a little bit small for two people. But we had our giant suitcases with us. Otherwise the bed was very comfortable.
The place was a little ways away from the city centre. But not a far walk.
Overall a great experience in Dublin! Highly recommend staying here.
Delphine was super nice and helpful! When we arrived she was expecting us with a map of the city and showed us where everything was, also helped with information and answered all of our questions. The apartment was very nice, lovely views and fully equipped kitchen. Good location as well, only a short walk away from the city. Great stay in Dublin!
Delphine is a wonderful host, so thoughtful and kind! She shared her knowledge of the city and gave us great head-ups. Her place is extremely cosy and well-located, a pleasant walk away from the major attractions and the city-center. We had an amazing time during our stay, will definitely go back.
