The space

Hi there,

Welcome to my home. I live in a bright, spacious 5th floor apartment in the heart of Dublin's historic centre. I'm renting out a nice clean, modern double bedroom, the perfect base to explore the city from.

You can enjoy great views of Dublin City centre on one side, and the Dublin mountains on the other, from the living room.

The apartement is recently redecorated, fully furnished, has kitchen appliances, WiFi, cable TV & DVD. You will be sharing the bathroom with me. There is a third room in the apartment with a separate ensuite bathroom which is also occasionally occupied by AirBnB guests.

Guest access

You will have full use of the living room and kitchen during your stay. Bathroom is shared with one other person (me).

Interaction with guests

I'm happy to give you advice on places to visit and things to do in Dublin and further afield. I tend to be in and out a lot for work and college, so I won't always be home but am more than happy to give you any information and advice that can help you to have a great stay in Dublin!

The neighborhood

The apartment is a short stroll from parks, galleries, museums, Dublin Castle, Guinness Storehouse, Temple Bar, Trinity College, Grafton St / Stephen's green shopping area, George's st cafes and restaurants... and in a quiet neighbourhood so you won't be kept up at night.

Nearby amenities include a Lidl supermarket, convenience stores and a Polish deli in the same building.

Getting around

We're well served by public transport, including both the Red and Green Luas (tram) lines, and we're 20 mins walk to Heuston train station if you want to head off and explore the rest of Ireland.

Other things to note

There are lots of guidebooks and maps at your disposal.
We try to recycle as much as possible. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment but you can use the private courtyard in our building.
Bed linen and towels are provided.
I charge 20 EUR to cover cleaning, which is already included in the total booking cost.

The place is beautiful. It's clean, spacious and cute. The room is also nice and the bed is extremely comfortable. Dee is friendly and was very responsive and helpful. She made us feel welcome and when we arrived we enjoyed a cup of tea together and had a nice conversation. The city centre is within walking distance and the neighbourhood felt safe.

I recently had the pleasure of staying with Delphine in her lovely apartment in Dublin. Not only was she quick to answer all of my questions on AirBNB, she also allowed me to check in earlier than normal since my flight landed in Dublin very early in the morning. From the moment she greeted me at the door she was polite and easy to talk to. She immediately offered me a cup of tea and began to offer suggestions of places to see and cafes to dine. Her suggestion to visit the Kilmainham Gaol turned out to be my favorite part of the trip! The room was exactly as described, and her apartment was in a very nice area conveniently located blocks away from St. Patricks Cathedral, and walking distance to the Guinness Storehouse. I would definitely suggest staying with Delphine when you visit Dublin.

It was an amazing staying at Dee´s beautiful apartment. The room was small ideally for a pair of tourists like us with my friend. The view from the apartment was marvelous, when we wanted to use the kitchen, we could make breakfast, dinner etc.. We have everything at hand (sights, supermarket, distillery), during all 5-days stay we used the bus two times - to the airport & to peninsula Howth, otherwise we walked. Every time Dee got an advice to us when needed.

Delphine was a nice host. She sat down with us upon our arrival and gave us tips on places to go and things to see. The room was smaller than I'd expected, but it served its purpose because we were out sightseeing most of the time anyway. Most of the city is within walking distance, which is really convenient.

Delphine is a very nice, friendly and helpful host. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay in Delphine's apartment and it provided us with a perfect base to discover Dublin. However, the room is smaller than I had expected and doesn't leave much space for two people. It should also be considered, that if you are arriving in the morning in Dublin, Delphine might only be available in the evening to give you the keys for the apartment, then you have the trouble of leaving your luggage during the day... Nevertheless, I would always recommend Dephine and her accommodation.

My girlfriend and I spent a few nights in Delphine's lovely Dublin apartment. The flat was clean and comfortable. The view from the room is beautiful and it is within walking distance of great restaurants, as well as the Teeling distillery and St. Patrick's Cathedral. Delphine was very gracious and helped us find places to eat and things to do. The abundance of Dublin tourist information she had in the room was a big help.

Delphine was an amazing host! The first night she sat with my friend and I and explained all of the hidden cool sights of Dublin, must visit places, and great places to eat. She was always there for us to help guide and make our stay more comfortable. Also, her apartment was wonderful and the location was within walking distance of everything. Would stay here again for sure!
