Located in downtown Brussels, this guest room is at short walking distance from major attractions, main shopping area, and going out places; not far from European Institutions either (less than 100 m to Covent Garden and Botanique).
Within a modern two-bedroom apartment, this East-facing room is ascetic but lovely, with a comfy king-size bed (140 x 200 cm), a multi usage massage table, limited wardrobe space, and an air cooler.
Shared facilities include an extensively equipped kitchen, a cosy living & dining room (West side), a bathroom with a bathtub/shower & a laundry tower, and a separate toilet.
Bed linen, towels, bath towels, hairdryer, iron & ironing board are provided, as well as free Wi-Fi and one laptop. A variety of hot drinks is at your disposal, as well as cooking essentials and a selection of spices and condiments. A range of tourist maps and guides to Brussels & Belgium and an umbrella are available to our guests too.
Interaction with Guests
We are welcoming hosts, a happy midlife couple living in this apartment. We speak English, French, Dutch, Slovenian, Serbo-Croatian, and basic German. We are keen to welcome & accommodate one person or a couple as much as possible, as well as a family or group of friends renting more rooms. Welcome to Brussels!
Birds aren't singing, cows don't moo, and one cannot expect a dead silence in our downtown neighbourhood at any given time of day. Although, I love one doesn't need a car or use a public transport to get around and to stroll this vibrant, to many unexpectedly tiny, Brussels.
It is well located for public transport, with railway station Brussels-North (Gare du Nord) and metro station Rogier just few minutes walk away.

Aida est une excellente hôtesse, elle m'a fait sentir immédiatement comme si j'étais chez moi. L'appartement est vraiment agréable avec une belle vue et bien situé.
Pour le quartier, il s'agit d'un quartier populaire assez tranquille
Aida, thanks again for your hospitality. It was again a pleasure staying at your place.
Very welcoming host. Invited me with a drink and lots of info about Brussels. Clean comfi room, comfi living. Great selection of tea and coffee. Clean bathroom.
Location, for me very convenient to the station and the conference buildings. But also close to red light district.
Aida and Barry were truly exceptional hosts who made us feel completely at home. The time we spend chatting with them may have been the best time we spent in Brussels. They gave us some great recommendations for waffles and dinner too. Their apartment is in a great location right next to the North train station and offers great views of the sunrise over Brussels. Absolutely recommended.
It's a pleasant and enjoyable experience to stay at Aida's place. Aida is warm hearted and very helpful host who make as if I feel at home. The place is easy to reach. The room is clean and well decorated, and it has a superb view in the morning. I definitely recommend this place to stay at Brussels.

Go eat in turkish restaurant and interesting are for chopping cheaper. Thanks!
What a sassy almond cake master baker Aida is ;)
The room has a great view on the top floor. It was a real treat to wake up with the sun every morning. Yet the building itself isn't that desirable besides being close to north station. Had a comfortable stay, yet wish the host was more open to chat and not so shocked upon my arrival at the door haha. It was a downer that she was sick during my stay. Hope everything is okay now!

I like challenges and diversity, but most of all, human unpredictability and spontaneity. I love people, and enjoy the company of those who don't easily plunge into disappointment, past or daze, but are willing to explore, learn, and share.
