The B & B in Deddington was just as described - beautiful and comfortable. Joan was an amazing hostess. Her greeting was welcoming, and we were offered a choice of the room we booked, or one that was larger with an en-suite bathroom, which we took her up on. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and lovely, and it was nice to have a private bathroom. The property was amazing, with gorgeous views out the dining room windows. Joan served a delicious and hearty breakfast, and she was willing to answer all the questions we had about the area, the culture, and recommendations for dinner and activities. We would not hesitate to recommend this B & B, and we hope to return some day to this wonderful area of England.
Lovely couple in a very homely house. Ideal meeting point in the countryside yet within reach of many cities in the south and midlands. Perhaps a tad pricey compared with other offerings nearby but we were very happy. Oh, and they have a lovely donkey!
Joan was super sweet and the room was clean and comfortable. We didn't have much time to experience more of the house as we were literally in and out attending an event down the road.
Charming hospitality, clean comfortable accommodation, great location.
Had a lovely stay with Joan who was very friendly and cooked us lovely breakfasts and even gave us some rhubarb to take home. The location is very picturesque and we were allowed to bring our dog and there was a nice walk at the end of the lane with a parking space for the car, where we could stroll peacefully and she could run without her lead on. Great for getting to Woodstock, Blenheim and visiting other areas.
Really helpful directions and information in advance. Beautiful setting. And amazing cooked breakfast!
Joan and Charlie were great hosts and we enjoyed full English breakfasts overlooking the wheat fields and valley beyond...great sunsets too. They allowed our 2 border collies to stay as well.
