Why spend all that money on a hotel when you can stay in your own private luxury self contained 2 brm villa fully equipped with all the essential for less than 1/2 the price, so close to the city and all the main attractions that perth has to offer.
LUXURY RETRO STYLE VILLA/DUPLEX - PERTH conveniently located in trendy Kensington area, only 5kms from Perth City Center, very close (between 2-5kms) to the famous Burswood Casino, the Swan River, South Perth Zoo, freeways North and South and the Perth Convention Center.
It is a truly comfortable, spacious home a way from home with all the comforts and more that most Hotels do not provide. Able to sleep 4 adults with the option of an additional king single bed at $20 extra per night.
BEDROOMS: There are Queen size beds in two separate bedrooms at either end of the house which both have crisp new linen, luxury feather quilts and cozy blankets. The 2nd bedroom has a 34" LCD TV/DVD with a bed/lounge which becomes a full queen bed with the full comfort of a real bed. The unit is suitable for 2 couples or 2 singles. There is a ceiling fan in the main bedroom, floor fan in the 2nd bed room.
BATHROOM: One brand new bathroom, recently renovated to the highest standard, including curved frame shower, toilet and vanity. Hairdryer, clean towels, luxury bath robes & basic toiletries included.
LIVING AREA: Spacious, open plan living area, complete with L shaped lounge, 55" LCD TV with free Foxtel (pay TV), a small library of music CD's & DVD movies. The unit has a bran new ceiling reverse cycle air-conditioning installed for my guests comfort.
DINING AREA: Adjacent to the lounge and kitchen, the extendable dining table comfortably seats 4.
KITCHEN: Ultra modern and spacious kitchen. Has a large fridge with brand new dishwasher, microwave and gas oven, equipped with cooking appliances (toaster, coffee machine, rice cooker, pizza cooker, processor and more) also items such as coffee, tea, milk, sugar and basic cooking pantry essentials and utensils.
BREAKFAST: A selection of breakfast cereals are provided.
LAUNDRY: Equipped with washing machine, iron and ironing board. If you prefer not to do your own washing or ironing, that can easily be arranged. You only have to ask (extra cost).
OUTDOOR AREAS: two outdoor areas, the elevated front porch is shaded and is perfect to enjoy your coffee in the morning sun and sipping your evening beverage. The rear courtyard is large and quite private in beautiful new landscaped surroundings.
INTERNET: Fast Speed NBN Wireless internet is available FREE.
LOCATION: Only 5kms (8-10 min car/bus) from Perth City Center. Less than 1 minute walk to Cafe Patisserie (great for lunch or breakfast), Kebab Restaurant, Convenience Store providing home cooked meals and groceries, a newsagent, a beautician and a hairdresser for all your last minute needs . Two minute drive to the famous Victoria Park Cafe Strip, with the largest choice of restaurants available in one area in Perth, approximately 3 - 5 km stretch of cafes.
Curtin University is located only 2 km away
Being familiar with Perth's attractions, I am happy to assist you with information on sight seeing & getting around etc. Brochures of bus/train, places to see and tourist information are provided for your convenience.
PLACES TO VISIT: in Perth include:-
- Kings Park overlooking Perth's Swan River - magic for a picnic, walking, cafe, restaurant (10min car)
- Swan Valley - take a boat cruise or drive and visit the Swan Valley wine region, restaurants
- Caversham wildlife park - meet the Koalas, visit the Kangaroo's, Wombats etc.
- Hillary's Boat Harbor - visit Aqua (see our coastal marine life up close).
- Fremantle, see the markets, great restaurants, boat harbor, take a whale cruise
- Perth's amazing beaches: Cottesloe Beach, Scarborough Beach
- Rottenest Island - take a boat trip and spend the day, bike riding, snorkeling, swimming, see Quokkas.
Two minute walk to public transport giving direct access to either Fremantle or the CBD.
This luxury villa/duplex is attached to our property, so we are very close for any additional needs that may arise and unlike most is completely fully self contained as you see in the photos.
It also has ample parking for up to 2 cars.
This property is not suitable for hosting families with young children.
CHECK IN/OUT TIMES: Are flexible. Depends on other guests so please ask in advance. I do try my best to fit in with your arrival/departure times. You may leave/store your luggage with me for a late checkout for a short period depending on other guest needing to check in/out, so please ask in advance.
Photo ID / Passport might be required for copy at key hand over.
AIRPORT; drop off can be arrange (extra cost let me know) between 9.00am & 10.30pm

The unit is totally private and all to yourself with its own driveway for your car parking. The front porch and backyard is for you to use/share and enjoy.
Interaction with Guests
You are more than welcome to knock on my door for any help or general questions on places to visit. If there is anything you need just ask as I am only in the unit next door.
Only 5kms (8-10 min car/bus) from Perth City Center. Less than 1 minute walk to Kebab Cafe, Convenience Store providing home cooked meals and groceries, a newsagent, a beautician and a hairdresser for all your last minute needs.
The Unit is in a quiet and peaceful safe area. All the neighbours are very friendly and courteous.
The bus is a 5 min walk to the main road which takes you to the city & to trains and other transport.
Once you are in the city there are CAT BUSSES that are free to get around.
Please leave the villa as you found it. All that really means is a sweep of the floor and a quick clean of the kitchen/bathroom surfaces.
STRICTLY NO SMOKING INSIDE - there is plenty of outdoor space!
(ashtrays must be used if smoking outdoors)
NO Parties / functions or outside guest.
Be aware that no guest other than those booked are allowed in the villa.
I expect all guest to respect the property and belongings within.

My wife and I had a lovely time! Erica was very helpful in the lead up as we had never used Airbnb before and when we arrived she had baked a lovely birthday muffin for my wife (i mentioned it was her birthday once) which was amazing! The house is in a very convenient location (close to the city and even has a cute cafe around the corner) and everything was as we expected (clean inside). Thanks again :)
Erica is a great host and the house was very well kept with everything you expect from our own house. The neighbourhood is a matured estate so there are supermarkets and food joints nearby. Heading out to various sightseeing destination is very convenient as well because the place is a stone throw away from various freeways.
I strongly recommend Erica's house for tourist planning for a fuss free stay in Perth.
Erica was a very welcoming and a concerned owner! The house was great. Very well stocked with so many unexpected food such as cereals, chocolates and bottled drinking water. Even the bath towels are generously stocked!
We were only there for 1 night as our final night in Perth. Erica's home is 15 mins away to the international airport and Perth city. Erica was kind enough to accommodate us to leave later at around 1130am as our flight departs at 2pm.
The house itself is lovely but it was slightly small and inconvenient for our travelling size with 5 adults and 1 toddler. It only has 2 rooms and 1 bathroom. But the front and backyard is gorgeously decorated. Wish I had another day to enjoy them. Erica's home is worth recommended.
Our host was wonderful! She looked after us well and treating us as special guests, especially my elderly mother who has alzheimers. The unit was just what we wanted and is well situated near the airport and downtown and yet is quiet and cosy. Parking is also easy. I would recommend this unit to anyone!
Even though we only stayed for 1 short night, our whole family felt warmly welcomed by Erica. She greeted us at the door and was very detailed when walking us through the operational of the facilities in the house.
The house is well stocked with tea, coffee, sugar and even cereal for the non-fussy.
My children and I fell in love with the decor of the place. We would love to be back again the next time we visit Perth!
Erica was very welcoming, showing us how the various electrical items worked and providing info on local eateries. The kitchen was very well stocked with basic food items and utensils - I think I could have baked a cake if I wanted to!
I initially found the bed a little soft for my liking, but soon identified it was soft on top and hard underneath, so I had a very comfortable sleep.
We only stayed overnight but will definitely stay here again when in Perth and have recommended it to our friends in Albany as a stopover point for their guests.
Erica was there to welcome us and explain how the very modern house works. It is a lovely place, and we felt at home right from the start. Erica also thoughtfully started the heaters in the living room and back bedroom before we arrived as there was a cold spell the weekend we were there. There was a good range of cereal and coffee/teas available for breakfast and a quick snack, and there is an IGA and yummy kebabs place only 2 mins walk away. It is a lovely quiet neighbourhood, and we had no trouble finding our way to more good food within 5 - 10 mins drive along albany highway and at westfield. We would highly recommend this place to anyone!

ERICA: I love spending time with my friends and family. Have traveled to many countries and know what its like to have nothing better than a very clean, comfortable place to stay and more important having the comforts of home and a good nights sleep.
I enjoy tennis, dining, movies, entertaining and listing to music . I love the outdoors in summer and meeting new people which is half the attraction of being an AIRBnB host.. I love cooking and gardening. I enjoying most of my time being at home and living in Kensington so close to Perth as everyone in the street/neighborhood are all very friendly.
AARON: My adorable son is in year 12 at school who is studying media. Maybe a film director one day.
ANIMALS: Our 2 beautiful cats Mia & Cougar will also make you welcome, on the odd occasion I look after a very cute dog Freeway . They spend a lot of time inside my house and the back yard and no allowed in the guests unit so you may be greeted with a couple of very friendly pets. I do not allow them inside the Villa/unit for the guests benefit just to keep it pet free clean.
We are polite, respectful, easy going, nothing is too much trouble and know our guest will be the same.
