Beautifully refinished hardwood floors, bright & comfy lounge spaces, fully stocked kitchen, and a private backyard patio is perfect for entertaining. Nestled on a quiet street, you can enjoy peace & comfort while still being close to all your favorite downtown destinations.

The space
Fairview Haven is aptly named for it’s home-away-from-home ambience. Fresh updates, newly refinished hardwood floors, cheery vintage decor, and cozy indoor and outdoor lounge spaces ensure both comfort and serenity. Walking in the front door may make you feel like you stepped back in time. 1404 Fairview was built in 1937, and has stood the test of time.
The master bedroom features a king sized bed, with a brand new firm mattress, Tv, and a large closet with plenty of storage space for short or long stays. There are two twin beds for added sleeping, perfect for children, the couch is not a sleeper sofa but is big enough to stretch out on for short stays and where the 5 person would have to sleep.
The TV in the living room has access to Netflix, Disney+, or Amazon Prime, etc. with your own password. (Just don’t forget to sign out before you leave!)
Newly updated bathroom, stocked with fresh towels, hand towel, wash clothes, makeup remover wipes, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
The kitchen is fully stocked for all of your basic needs as well as a small coffee maker with a larger one tucked down below in the cabinet. Complimentary coffee and tea are provided, with (sugar and creamer.). Besides a big oven, there is a toaster oven, toaster and microwave oven. There is a separate dining room with an expanding dining table for extra seating. The table could also double as a work space for working on a computer.
The downstairs area also provides extra space for entertainment with a foosball table and treadmill. Extra rooms downstairs are currently under renovation for future added guest space/bedrooms. We are also considering putting in another bathroom at some point.
Freshly landscaped backyard and private patio including patio furniture & BBQ, (we are planning on putting in a fire pit with added seating, but right now, just in the works.)
Ample on-street parking available, however no garage availability.

Fairview Haven is conveniently located near Downtown Caldwell on a quiet residential street. You’re only 2 and a half blocks from West Valley Medical Center and less than 5 minutes away from The College of Idaho, Simplot football stadium, used by The College of Idaho Coyotes, the Fairgrounds and summer splash pad in Indian Creek Plaza. Indian Creek Plaza has summer concerts and is also home to many Farmers Markets during our warm Summer months.
If you want a small getaway, you’re only a short drive to 15 local wineries (maybe enjoy a tour) and about 25 minutes for Boise. Nampa, Eagle, and Meridian are also very close by.
Enjoy a variety of favorite local restaurants such as Grit 2C, Shi Sushi and Spirits, Ragazza Di Buffalo (Italian) Chop Shop (BBQ,) Stewarts Bar and Grill, Keystone Pizza, Idaho Pizza, a 5 minute drive..Indian Creek Steakhouse. Mexican fair includes Fiesta Guadalajara, Imelda’s Restaurant for lunch, and several more.. we have a Dutch Bro’s, The Human Bean, Star bucks, Bridges Coffee and More, Goatstar Donuts and Coffee, and right in the middle of town we have Flying M Coffee, about a half mile from this house.
Many Golf courses are within a short drive of town. Caldwell’s own course is Fairview Golf Course a 9 hole, par 35 course nestled in downtown Caldwell. It is the perfect course for any ability and especially for juniors and seniors. If you are looking for a quick 9 or just a relaxing round, Fairview is the perfect course for you; caution though many of the fairways are tight, greens are small, and there is water where you see no water!?!? Haha, the good news is in this water you can always find your ball. Just wanting to work on your short game, this is a great place to start.
Caldwell also has a movie theater clean and new in the past few of years, with numerous movies to choose from.
There is never a shortage of year-round activities close by; yearly Christmas lights, light up all of down town both sides of Indian Creek, for the perfect Christmas walk, with many photo opportunities. Also the town sets up an Ice Rink for more Winter time fun.

My name is Wendy, I have lived in Caldwell, Idaho for over half of my life. Before that I was born and raised in Oregon.. I was married to my husband Mike in 1979 and have lived in Idaho ever since. We are the parents of a mixed family of 5 boys. I brought one into the marriage, he brought three, and we adopted a boy in 1986. It has been an interesting ride, and there have been very few down moments. Let’s just say it’s never been boring. I said we had been in Caldwell ever since 1979 but we took two of the boys and traveled to Australia and spent 2 years there working and exploring the country. We lived 18 months in Western Australia a town called Manjimup and 6 month in Devonport, Tasmania. Both places were and are beautiful and All of it was a great time for our family. Upon returning home we moved back into the house we bought when we were first married and we remain at the same address to this day. Those 5 boys have grown and left home and have given us beautiful daughter-in-law’s and grandchildren. Life is good.
