A fun, lake view lake house situated on the banks of the Big South Fork River. You will love waking up each morning with a beautiful view of the river. Watch as the boats go out for a day on the water. Every where you turn, you are surround with beauty. We back up to the Daniel Boon National Forest. No matter the time of year you decide to stay, there is always plenty of hiking, fishing and site seeing to do. We are also right across the street from the pool.

The space
Upstairs is an open concept living/kitchen area. Two extra large sliding doors to give you access to the upper deck and an amazing view of the lake. Enjoy indoor or outdoor eating or both!

The kitchen is stocked with a plethora of cooking ware and utensils. Including a crockpot so your meal will be ready when you return from a day on the lake or hiking. We also provide some of the most common seasonings you could need. Along with sugar, flour, non-stick cooking spray and oil. We offer two types of coffee pots. A Keurig (with complementary K-cups) and a Mr. Coffee, automatic drip (bring your own coffee grounds). Grill out on the upper deck making your favorite meal! We also provide gas for the grill.

The main bedroom with queen bed and full bathroom is also upstairs.
Laundry and powder room are conveniently located there as well. Other conveniences included are toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, a starter kit of shampoo/conditioner, body wash and lotion. Towels and bed linens provided as well. Need to do a quick load of laundry? No worries. We have a washer and dryer with provided detergent and dryer sheets.

Downstairs are the two other bedrooms and full bathroom. Our Lake themed room provides a queen size bed and smart TV. You will have access to the lower deck and hot tub from this room. We keep the air mattress in this bedroom closet. The Bunk Bed room is full of fun. A bunk bed to sleep 3 with plenty of games and smart TV! Cards, board games, bing bag chairs and a wall mounted Mrs. Pacman arcade game is there to enjoy! The bunk bed room also has access to the lower deck, hot tub and rear yard.

Enjoy evenings gathered around our fire pit! Play a game of corn hole(game in lake room closet), make smores or just relax. Hang out at the right time and watch all the boats go out and come back in. Truly a fun place to be.

Guest access
All parts of our home are available for you to use with two exceptions. Small closet in upstairs main bedroom bathroom and closet in the downstairs bunk bed room.

Other things to note
We are in a secluded area. Providing a relaxing, fun atmosphere. Please be sure to bring food and drink items you will need. Getting to the grocery (Kroger) will take you about 30 minutes one way. The Dollar General and Davis’s Mini Gas Station and Store are about 20 minutes out. Both provide a good selection of staples. Davis’s makes hot food if you prefer not to cook. it is a good idea to plan ahead. If you plan to use the fire pit, be prepared with logs to burn. We do not guarantee there will be logs available.

Neighborhood highlights

We are situated in beautiful Lake Cumberland Resort; a gated community. Access codes will be given 48 hours before arrival. Big South Fork Boat Ramp is right behind us. Resort pool is available Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. 10am to 9pm. No life guard on duty.
