Interaction with Guests
I only interact with guests at their request. I am always available but like to give my guests privacy. I am very happy to spend time with guests and teach about the garden and First Nations culture if the guests request this.
I think the best thing about the location of the house is that it is located on the edge of a green space with a hiking trail right beside the yard. It is not unusual to see deer, raccoon and other animals wandering in the yard if you are an early riser. The resident pheasant likes to make himself heard in mating season. He tends to strut around the yard as if he owns the place and it is not unusual to witness a territory discussion between he and younger males.
The local bus stops about 1 block away but the trail is an easy walk downtown if you are a walker. I am happy to pick guests up at the bus if necessary.
Other Things to Note
We have done a small wedding in the yard as well as a conference hosting 17 participants.
Your host is a registered Cranio Sacral Thereapist so you may book in advance for Cranio Sacral Therapy or relaxation massage therapy

Rennae met us as we pulled in and gave us a tour of the place and explained breakfast. She was very helpful in answering questions about closest grocery stores, biken paths and the best beach.
It is an older home but clean and dog friendly. Lovely location with huge garden yard bordering on a nice walking trail which my dogs loved. Home baking for breakfast...my son dubbed it a Bed and Bakery.
Renae was very warm and welcoming. The rooms were spacious & comfortable. She was happy to let us use her washer and dryer.
We had a great experience had at this B&B. Great hostess and everything as described. Would recommend a second stay.
Renae greeted us upon arrival and showed us around. Lovely little place, clean and comfy. Yummy breakfast with homemade bakery which we enjoyed outside in the beautiful garden, Renae allowed us to take some herbs home with us. She was also flexibel with Check-In & Check-Out Times. We would stay here again!
We chose to stay with Renae because her B&B is child-friendly. And indeed it was - she even made up a second bed for us in the sitting room so that my friend and her baby could have their own room.
The breakfast was varied and ample, including baked goods, cereal, toast, fruit and berries. Because it was sunny, we were able to eat breakfast outside in Renae's garden.
Renae is located close to the highway and within walking distance to a Chinese restaurant that does take-out - both of which were convenient for us.
