Ideal for exploring London, the Studio has its own kitchen, shower room, as well as separate sleeping and sitting areas. Check out the photos. And we live right beside the Studio if help is needed.
We're located in a Central but quiet area, restaurants, pubs, shopping are just a few minutes walk. We are very close to Underground and main line trains, buses, and just a short walk from Hyde Park. Oxford Street is just one (Marble Arch) or two (Bond St) underground stops away.

The space

We look forward to welcoming you to the Studio. Guests have exclusive use of the Studio with its own private kitchen and bathroom. The Studio is equipped with a washer/drier, dishwasher, combination oven (grill/convection/ microwave), iron, laptop safe. Shared use of the patio.
Guests can cook for themselves, or make use of the complementary breakfast supplies provided daily.
We are located a short walk from Paddington Station, which is the destination for the Heathrow Express & Connect services from Heathrow Airport. The Express service takes just 15 from Heathrow.
Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens are a 5 minute walk. Oxford Street and the West End a few (bus or Underground) stops away. There are 4 underground lines within 8 minutes walk, as well as Paddington Mainline. Waitrose supermarket is just five minutes away.
Bayswater is well served by shops selling useful things – there are many banks, bureaux de change and cash machines on Queensway, as is the Post Office, and Boots the Chemist (open until midnight).

Whiteley’s Centre (Queensway) is the local shopping emporium, and contains shops such as Marks & Spencer, Zara, H&M, Gap, and The Body Shop. Waitrose is the best local supermarket on Porchester Rd and is open until 9pm each evening except Sundays when it closes at 5pm.

Westbourne Grove has more interesting shopping options and as the Grove reaches Notting Hill the shops become more exclusive and expensive. Westbourne Grove is also the route to Portobello Rd - famous for its weekend antique market.

Local recommended eateries within walking distance include Patisserie Valerie (Viennese style café on Queensway), The Frontline (modern British on Norfolk Place). Masala Zone serves modern Indian cuisine. There are several Chinese restaurants on Queensway (near Queensway station), with The Royal China famous for its Dim Sum. Pizza East is on Portobello Rd is also very good but is a bus ride away or a 25 min walk. New Pizza restaurant just opened (Nov 2016) on Porchester Road which we have to try.

There are many other restaurants locally including many chains including McDonald’s, Burger King, Pret a Manger and Bella Italia. There are also several very reasonable Indian restaurants.

Local pubs include The Porchester (corner of Bishops Bridge Rd and Porchester Rd), The Redan (Queensway) and The Albert (Queensway). Most pubs serve food at lunchtimes and in the evenings.

Guest access

Guests have full (and exclusive) access to the Studio and its amenities, as well as the shared outside Patio.

Interaction with guests

We are happy to supply information about public transport and getting to places of interest etc. The rest of our flat adjoins the Studio, so we are usually on hand if needed. But mostly we leave guests to get on with their holiday.

Eamon & Tomas's flat was the perfect homebase for our London trip. It's convenient to three different tube stops, close to some lovely pubs (we enjoyed the Porchester), and handsomely appointed. Perfect hosts and incredible hospitality—we especially appreciated the light breakfast items so we could feel better about the pub excess with some healthy fruit and eggs :) We will definitely book again and recommend it highly.

The studio is very thoughtfully put together. It has everything that you might need. Great comfortable bed. The location is convenient to sightseeing and in a very safe neighborhood. The hosts are experienced, knowledgeable and kind. I felt comfortable there and knowing that I could reach out for assistance or advice was very reassuring. I had a great trip and that largely had to do with not having to worry about where I was staying. I would book again.

Eamon and Thomás were wonderful hosts! The studio was charming, clean and in a great location, as well as an interesting history and beautiful gardens behind it. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there. They were very attentive to anything we may want or need. Breakfast items like croissants, eggs, milk, juice, butter all stocked daily was a nice surprise. Wonderful and huge thanks to them!

I can't say enough good about this flat! First of all Eamon & Tomás are brilliant and lovely hosts. I felt like I was a staying with friends by the end of my stay. They were so helpful with everything and the food provided for breakfast is excellent. You really can't ask for better hosts. The space was great and much more room than my previous stays in London. The location was fantastic. I use public transit when it all possible when visiting a city and Bayswater is very accessible by both bus and underground. I love that it was walking distance to parks and some great restaurants including really good Indian. A grocery store is also a quick walk. While all this is so accessible, the actual street where the flat is located is very calm and quiet. I could not believe I was so centrally located yet so peaceful. I would not hesitate to stay here again and will recommend it to any friends visiting London. It is a great spot if you plan on visiting places like Kensington Palace and Buckingham palace. Being able to take the Heathrow Express to and from the airport and then walk to the flat was also really convenient.

We feel very fortunate to have stayed in this lovely flat. The flat is within minutes' walk to Hyde Park, as well as shops, restaurants and the underground. Eamon and Tomas were simply the best hosts and always very attentive. All the reviews we read about Tomas and Eamon's flat were proven to be true. We could have sat in the little courtyard for hours watching the birds at the feeder and admiring the charming hidden floral oasis they have created and nurtured. We highly recommend this flat and will definitely be back. Thank you so much Eamon and Tomas for making our stay very special.

We loved the Bayswater Studio. We selected first by location (easily accessible to Underground, buses, and Paddington) , and second by the availability of the hosts. We prefer to book where hosts are on-site and Eamon and Tomas did not disappoint! They checked in with us every day to see if we needed anything. They were also very responsive to text messaging. The studio itself is charming and well appointed. Breakfast provisions were refreshed daily. The studio is very comfortable and has many amenities. It is step down from street level to a secluded courtyard, so one feels removed from the pace of the city. There are ample pans and plates in the kitchen to make an actual meal. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is very clean. There are even white terry robes for guests! All in all this was one of the best values which we have found. We would love to return to the Studio and we immediately felt at home with Eamon and Tomas. They are stellar hosts. Thanks!
