Side Note ~ We have moved to Oceanside, CA and no longer live on premise. For most this won't matter....but if you were wanting to meet us in person, we felt you should know we no longer live upstairs. Paul and I were both raised in Portland and are happy to answer any questions or give you recommendations about our favorite city. In addition, I have created a large binder of information, neighborhoods, transportation, menus, recommendations, maps, etc. for your reference. The basement apartment has it's own separate entrance with a combo door lock. My mom is the acting property manager and your local contact. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do!

  • I had a great stay in this apartment. It is really inviting and has just about everything you need. And the bed is super comfortable! The hosts even put a binder together of all the great places to go in Portland. Myra was really responsive to my request even though I booked same day. I was new to Airbnb and she help get me started. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs an extended stay while in Portland. There is so much to do in this neighborhood.

  • We had a great time at this basement apt. The hosts were friendly and accessible (especially after I figured out the Airbnb process).
It is a in an interesting part of town which was actually quite close to
    Where we needed to be.

I would definitely recommend this apt. and hope to stay here again.

    Thank you,

  • Myra place was great. I was working long hours and it was a great place to find peace. The bed was super comfortable - I could easily walk and find fresh produce at the coop or a fresh juice from SIP on Alberta.

Also the fig tree in her backyard was a great source of some fresh figs.

I highly recommend her place and will return if I get the chance.

    Thanks !

  • Myra and Paully were very accessible and responsive to our needs. The apartment is conveniently located a block and a half off of Alberta Street so we could easily walk to good restaurants and coffee shops. The bus stop is only a block away, so taking public transportation was easy.

We especially liked relaxing in the well-landscaped, beautiful back yard, and the comfortable bed. Since this is a basement apartment, it was a little dark, but on the other hand, we stayed during one of Portland's rare hot spells and the coolness the apt. provided was welcome.

  • What a little gem! We had no problem getting there via bus. The neighborhood is super friendly and I couldn't ask for a better location. All the essentials are in the apartment which is in great shape. Portland is home to a few friends and this rental is likely to be used by us again.

Myra was very pleasant to communicate with, quick responses, great information, very professional. For a first time Airbnb user, my experience was everything I imagine it should be. Thanks for hosting us!

  • I had a great two week stay in this apartment. Pauly and Myra, although they don't live here, were good at communicating with me and letting me know what to expect. The apartment is cozy and clean with close access to public transportation, and the neighbors upstairs were easy to get along with. Nearby Alberta Street is filled with good restaurants and nice people.

  • Had the pleasure of staying here with my mother. Beautiful space in a close in and convenient neighborhood. Lots going on near by, two blocks from alberta, maybe a mile from the Missippi area and two miles from downtown. The basement was a nice cool break from the heat. Myra was easily accesible and clear with directions on getting into the apartment. Checking in and checking out were a breeze. Thank you Pauly and Myra, we had a great and relaxing time.
