Located in a quiet neighborhood near Diamond Head and very close to Waikiki and beaches, just 10 to 15 minuet walk. Great restaurants and shops just 3 minutes down the block. And a hike into Diamond Head Crater is less than a mile. On Saturdays KCC has the best Farmers Market, with lots of great food. It is less than a mile away. There is lots to do within walking distance of here. The Zoo, Kapiolani Park, and the aquarium, all about 10 minutes walking. Weekends has an art fair on the Zoo fence.
The room has a separate entrance and a private bathroom. It also has a queen size bed, small fridge, micro, coffee pot, cable TV, wireless internet. The bus is just down the block. Parking is in front of the house. No smoking please.
I have been know to do a little laundry for my guest.
Interaction with Guests
I am here if they need something, but other wise you are free to do your own thing.
Everything is so convenient and yet you are in a secluded, quiet neighborhood, away from the noise.
The bus is just 3 minutes walk to just about anywhere you will want to go on Oahu.
Other Things to Note
There are many great little restaurants just a few minutes walking down the street. Affordable, not pricey.
I rent two rooms in my house, so just be considerate of others if you are coming in late at night or getting up very early in the morning. No smoking please. Small dog possible.
Anna is a wonderful host.
The property is just as described.
It has all the amenities you will need for a great vacation. The location is perfect just a short walk to the heart of Waikiki and close to all the bus lines should you want to explore the island. There is also some really good restaurants within walking distance. I have stayed with Anna on several
occasions and will continue to return. As always thanks for a great stay:)
My flight was delayed over 6 hours, so I did not get to my room until after midnight. Anna was great - she was awake and welcomed me as if it were noon! The room was as described and perfect for my needs. It is small and not really soundproof, so I don't know if two people would be comfortable. Anna had some toiletries and coffee, tea, etc. as well as a small fridge, microwave and teapot. The location is perfect, right at the base of Diamond Head and within walking distance (about 1/2 mile) to Waikiki. The neighborhood is very quiet and the yard is private. I felt very safe on the property and walking around the area. Overall, a lovely experience.
Anna and foxy (puppy) were great. Foxy and I had snacks every night. Anna's place was very nice. I really enjoyed the singing birds in the morning. The location was great, close to everything. I would like to stay there again. I really liked the personal touches. My stay was great.
Anna was very welcoming when we showed up, giving us great ideas on where to eat and which sites to go visit. The room itself cannot be beat for this price and location - it is very close to Waikiki beach, the zoo, aquarium, diamond head crater, etc. We did run into a few problems regarding ants and other small insects (hence the 4 stars) but the location was amazing.
Thanks Anna for the amazing visit!
Anna was a great hostess. She met us upon are arrival and provided us great tips about the area I.e. Food etc..
The room was very private and thank goodness for parking which is hard to come by in Honolulu. The area was extremely quite..a plus for us.
Her dog Foxie was so cute and very quite.
I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone who does want to be in heart of Wailkiki but close by.
Anna is very welcoming and hospitable. The house is in a quiet area convenient for all amenities and main roads to travel the island The accommodation is light and airy with all that is needed for a comfortable stay. There is parking outside and the internet has good reception and is free. No breakfast included but some crockery and a microwave to self-cater of plenty of local cafes to visit.
a good reasonably priced B & B.
