  • I stayed in Mastersuite 1st floor for a month and it was absolutely amazing from the day I arrived till the day I left. The room is exactly as shown in the description, the bed is super comfortable and the neighbourhood is very quiet and safe with all families living around. But more important is that this house is filled with positive energy due to Etiene, the hospitable landlord and a truly kind human being, and other tenants who come from all around the world and who help create a unique atmosphere for this place. I highly recommend this house to anyone who comes to visit or live in New York and I will definitely come to stay there again!

  • My room called the Mastersuite 1st is a quiet and sunny room and includes also his own bathroom. This I prefered very much.Located near Kennedy Boulevard, there is a good connection by bus to Journal Sq.and from there via Path to Manhattan Downtown & Midtown. Judith isn't here and it is Etienne, that wonderful and really nice guy who manage and solve all the problems, if it is something wrong with computer or printer, or with a problem in the bathroom or anything else. Even when there was some psychical distress he helped in his friendly way. I think, he is the "good spirit" of this house! His hospitality, friendlyness and honesty is invaluable and makes all of us feeling like at home.
When I come again to visit NY I'm shure, I'll ask for the Master Suite in 285 Claremont Avenue!

  • I really have a nice time in Judith's place. It take 1 hour to get to NY, you can go with a bus during the week or a light rail train. The room is very confortable and the host is very friendly. I stayed for a month and certanly would stay there (website hidden) adorei a casa, fica a 1 hora de metrô / ônibus para o centro de NY. O quarto é confortável e espaçoso. O anfitrião é amistoso, gosta de conversar. Fiquei por um mês e provavelmente voltaria a me hospedar.

    Tnks !

  • Stayed in Judy's house for a couple of days while visiting New York and my stay was way more than I expected. This was my first time using airbnb so I was a little skeptic about where I would be staying but you are secure with Judith's home. It is in a good neighborhood and room is just as listed. I will definitely return here on my next visit to NY.

  • The place was great!
Neighborhood was nice and pretty quiet. The little stores were very close so if u wanted something from the store you had to walk under five minutes to get it.
Transportation was easy with the bus and PATH train to New York and it took like 35 minutes to get to Manhattan.

My host was great and had a great sense of humor. We chatted almost everyday and watched movies and series together.
I had really good time and I was really glad about the free WiFi what kept me close to my friends and family and my video games so it felt little bit like home.

The "chores" were really fair cause things what you had to do was clean your mess, wash your clothes and dishes and keep your stuff in your room and everyone was happy and no one complained.

    Little bit about my room:
    - First of all my bed was huge.. Now that I came home I really look at my bed for a while and thought "was it really this little.."
    - Light in my bathroom was awesome! To high school girl like me who put make on her face everyday it was like dream come true.
    - The closet space was good, not great but good. It worked for me but if there would me something to get improve it would be that.

so 4 out of 5! Best to Judith and Nansha! Who always made sure that I had everything I needed.
