Private Sanctuary on Daniel Island

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Etiwan Park St, Charleston, SC 29492, United States

The Space

Get rejuvenated in this private apartment above a detached garage on tropical park-like Daniel Island! It includes a full-sized bed, built-in cabinets, a vintage dresser and table, and a cozy reading chair perfect for catching up on your reading. We already stocked a few shelves with over 40 books!

The apartment also features a full bath (towels and soap included) and a large closet for your travel gear.

We are coffee nuts so you get 1/3 pound of single-origin coffee free during your stay - roasted by us in our home roaster. We've got you covered with coffee brewing stuff too. You will not get that anywhere else in Charleston!

Free wireless internet included, and plenty of parking.

Need to go for a swim? Take advantage of the huge neighborhood pool with your private key card.

There's a washer, dryer downstairs, and don't forget to stock your cold drinks in the full size refrigerator too!

Head to the beach at amazing Isle of Palms, about 20 minutes away. We'll give you our parking pass for beach front parking and gear you up with chairs, a blanket, and a cooler!

Our neighborhood has a bunch of walking trails, specialty beer / wine retailers, and the Family Cup Tennis Center (always something going on!). You're less than five minutes from Blackbaud and BenefitFocus. Drive to historic downtown Charleston only 20 minutes away!

Check In
  • A great place to stay! The apartment was cozy and clean, and full of personal touches that made staying there a pleasure. Rob made coordinating check-in and check-out a breeze, and his genuine enthusiasm for hosting was evident in all of our interactions (fresh house-roasted coffee! thoughtful recommendations!). Highly recommended!

  • Rob and his wife were an absolute joy to meet. They were very friendly and so relaxed. It was a peaceful place to stay, and the coffee was delicious. We went for the Zac Brown concert. How convenient it was to be able to walk home from Blackbaud stadium while everyone else was stuck in traffic. Would highly recommend staying.

  • Very nice safe neighborhood, relatively new. Very residential, but there is a little village center nearby with all the shops you need. Rob's house is in the old traditional southern suburban style, with the garage apartment behind. The apartment is very spacious, clean, private and peaceful. Just what I look for when I travel for business. Thanks Rob, and good (website hidden)
Yes, the coffee is good. It is American style, not espresso, but has full body and flavor. Bring a good organic milk and you are all set.

  • Rob's apartment was wonderful and the neighborhood was beautiful! My wife and I stayed for three nights and enjoyed a short walk to a local pizza restaurant nearby. If I was relocating to Charleston, I would look for a place just like to this to call home.

  • This was my first airbnb experience and I will definitely do it again. While I never got a chance to meet Rob, the room was extremely comfortable and it felt like I was staying at a friend's home as opposed to a stranger's. I highly recommend this space and Rob since he is always super responsive and truly concerned about your comfort.

  • Staying at Rob's is great!

It is clean, comfortable and it just isn't possible to find someone more accommodating. Get in late, leave early. Rob makes it all work. The location is very upscle and very safe. I will stay again.

    Highly recommended.

  • Second stay with Rob, though this one was a TINY bit more relaxed as far as length of stay, it was far busier in terms of places-to-be, time-to-be-there, and crazy hours of arrival/departure.

So much so that we never even got to see Mr. or Mrs. Rob, though he still managed to make the check in/out process absolutely painless, and helped us feel just as welcome, if not more so, than the first stay.

Though I knew about this trip in advance, I didn't end up planning it until relatively late, but Rob accomodated my requests with ease, and made me feel like I wasn't inconveniencing him at all.

This is still my absolute go-to place when in CHS, and I'd imagine that feeling will only be more cemented as we rack up the stays!

Thanks again, and we'll see you guys soon!

  • Rob was easy to communicate with and gave us good recommendations. The coffee was tasty too! Thanks!
