A very comfortable double bed in a bright room. The apartment has a bathroom with shower and a full equipped kitchen with microwave, for your use.
This is a good and strategic accommodation for short and long stay period. Pigneto is a great and very lively area only 15min distance from Termini Central Station.
A vibrant farmer market, plenty of restaurants and bars.
Very well served by public transport.
We have also two classic bikes for you to use and to enjoy completely Rome.
The place is easy to reach from Termini Central Station: 7 stops with bus N.105 or the tram N. 5 and N.14 or just 20 min. walking distance.
We love good food. We speak Italian, but also French, English, Spanish and German.
You will be very welcome to Rome!
Excellent host. Thanks very much Fabio! See you again sometime!
I have had a great time in Fabio's 'perfect room'... the room itself is of a good size and the apartment is clean, bright, tasteful and fully equipped.
If you are looking for a tourist-free Rome experience, Pigneto is the right area to stay and Fabio's apartment is in the very center of this bustling 'up-and-coming' neighborhood.
Fabio was very nice! We went to his bar a few times to sit and drink with him and his gf. (which is close by) the app is in a pretty central location. You can walk to the Colosseum in 40 minutes if you don't want to use public transportation (we could barely figure that out lol!)
The room and apartment is clean. It's right outside a nice street that has a market during the day if you wake up and are hungry, you can buy fresh fruit and refill your water bottle for free. If noise is a problem for you at night, bring earplugs because it is loud. It overlooks a bunch of bars but we were ok with that. This is no fancy hotel so bring towels, soap, hairdryer etc. Other than that, if the price suits you, go for it.
Fabio replied quickly and was even flexible about my arrival time, and helped me up three flights of stairs with my big suitcase. First impression- Seemed like a nice guy on a personal level, even though I had a total of fifteen minutes of interaction; but as a airbnb host I'd say fell short of my expectations.
I was let into the room, given keys and not much orientation other than that- maybe arriving at 10 pm could have been the reason. There was no towel provided or hot water so my first shower was interesting to say the least (i soaped myself with my shampoo, but thankfully there was toilet paper!). The room is very basic- a bed and desk in a room with closets and chest full of someones belongings.
Just be prepared for a noisy room because it stands over a very busy street. The location is nice, cute street, lots of cafes and fruit and vegetable stalls in the morning- I really appreciated the hustle and bustle once I was awake :) no metro close by, but a couple of buses that get you to Termini in just 15 minutes.
I left before my stay was over (still paid for the night) because I wasn't too happy there. I found something for the same price that was much much better. I'd say over all if this place was priced at $25-30 instead of $50 I'd have reduced expectations.
We had a great stay @ Fabio's place. The street is very lively and there is something going on all times of the day. We were happy with the street sounds buy others may find it tricky. Fabio was very communicative and very helpful. Rome was very easy to see from his place. The metro system and bus system are very easy to use from the apartment. Everything was exactly as described. Thanks for the great stay!
Fabio is VERY communicative, kind and friendly. Always willing to help and in general, a great person - not only as a host (and as a host, it's hard to find a better one!). I felt like we've known each other for years!
The apartment itself is really nice and well communicated with the rest of the city. The street is very lively in the evening, with cute little bars and restaurants. All in all a WONDERFUL stay! I highly recommend!
We enjoyed our stay at Fabio's place. The room was big with great view and all the house was very clean and everythng was functional. Fabio and Kate are very friendly, helpfull and discreet and seem very interesting people. The neighborhood is great very lively night and day with local market. Not touristic. The public transport is near and you can go everywhere by tram or bus. Even if you miss the last tram on your way back ,which I think are at midnight, the TAXI from termini station is about 10 euros. I think that's about everything. Enjoy your time off.
My friend and I were looking for a fun, interesting, easy (oh yeah, and safe) way to explore and experience Rome. We got it! Fabio's room is perfectly located if you want access to the local hip and artsy dives of Rome, but it's only just a hop skip and a jump away ( as only a total nerd would say) from any major tourist attraction. The room was neat, the daily farmers' market was downstairs, good local bars and restaurants abounded; In short, the location was wonderful! Fabio is perfectly helpful as a host, and a great person all around. I definitely recommend his place! P.S. The shower's a little tempermental.:D
