Close to the T with free breakfast, beer and bicycles.
What's awesome about our place?
- Breakfast is included. Eggs? Yogurt? Croissants? Yes! Whatever you'd like.
- Free beer. Yeah, that's right. Help yourself to a complimentary homebrew in the fridge.
- Borrow our bikes! There's no better way to get around the city. We live right off a separated bike path that takes you all the way downtown.
- Flexible check-in and check-out time. Arrive as early as you'd like, leave when you want.
- Check your luggage downtown. Arriving during the day and want to site see before heading to the apartment? Check your luggage any weekday with me at my office at Downtown Crossing.
- We LOVE Boston and we know it well. Want to know the best bars? Where the food trucks are? The secret best view of the city? Concerts and festivals? We're in the know and happy to help you plan what to do while here. Your room will be stacked with maps and guide books.
You'll love staying in the guest room in our second floor apartment. We're RIGHT OFF the main street of Jamaica Plain and 3 BLOCKS FROM THE T.

Free on street parking anywhere on the weekends, two blocks away on weekdays. But really, Boston is better without your car. We've got 2 bikes available for the borrowing.
You'll have your own private porch and room in a 2 bedroom that you'll be sharing with us, your hosts. Make yourself at home and use the kitchen and living rooms.
Other good stuff to know: Multiple fans, but no air conditioning. We provide towels, shampoos and soaps. Wi-fi and television to plug your laptop into, but no cable. $1 a load laundry in the basement. (bring quarters)
Also, as a bonus, we're somewhat of experts in free and cheap events going on in Boston.Need something? Just ask.
The entire apartment, except for our bedroom, is yours to use.
Up to you. We've done some great dinner parties with our guests. We've also sometimes just said hello and given the house tour.
JP is full of hip progressives and there's plenty of really great geared-towards-locals bars, restaurants and shops.
Our neighborhood ROCKS and we are right in the middle of it. Green space galore, the best restaurant in Boston, fantastic bars, thrift shopping mania, the Sam Adams Brewery.
You'll be staying a 1 minute walk from all the action in JP. We're super close to the city center too (about 25 minutes), but out here you're surrounded by green space, a neighborhood-vibe, friendly folks and free parking.
Want to see the rest of Boston? We're a 5 minute walk from the nearest train stop. (We'll have a "charlie card" for you.) From there it's about 20 minutes to downtown on the T. Getting to Harvard Square is easy too. About a 30 minute drive or bike ride or a 45 minute T ride.
For the cyclists, we're next to the Southwest Corridor bicycle path that goes all the way to Back Bay off the road.
Megan's place was so cozy! It was indeed a hip Apt and we were welcomed with very tasty homemade beer waiting for us in the fridge. The key was right where Megan said it would be and there were clean sheets and towels as promised. We interacted with our host as our paths crossed and Megan was warm and friendly. We would gladly stay again!
Our stay with Megan and Chris was great! Checking in and out went smoothly, they showed us great hospitality, and we felt at ease the whole time we were there. Yummy homemade granola was a plus! I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to find a place to stay for a few nights. In addition to the great hosts, i's conveniently located close to the T and has a CVS, restaurants, and stores nearby.
Megan and Christopher's apartment was perfect for my needs. It was easy to get to on public transportation, and near the friends and facility I visited for two days, so that I was easily picked up by car, but could use a quick bus as well if necessary .
The apartment is well organized and nicely decorated. My morning coffee & breakfast needs were quite well met and Christopher's craft beer was a special treat. They were helpful when I had questions; I just texted and got an instant answer from Megan!
We had a great time in Boston! Megan made it easy to come and go and was helpful suggesting places around JP! Breakfast was perfect (great muffins) and the location was awesome! She also provided cards for the T that made it cheaper to get into the city. If you're headed to Beantown, their place is a great way to see the amazing neighborhood as well as the city!
We stayed with Megan one night and loved it! She is so friendly and made us feel right at home in her place. The location is great. The bed was comfy and the room inviting. The apartment was clean, warm and travel-themed which was fun. Excellent value and a great host.
They were super sweet and welcoming! I would highly recommend to stay with them to anyone!
Fantastic location and comfy bed. Megan was so helpful letting us store our bags downtown and providing a transit card to save us money when we arrived on the train. She provided many great ideas for places to go and neighborhoods to check out. The weekend market and Samuel Adams brewery tour are so close to her place. Highly recommend this place!
I live in JP and contacted Megan about renting her room for a guest attending a party at my house. Then a snow storm came and I didn't even need the space...so I can't comment on the actual experience of staying in the room. However, I can say that Megan communicated really well and made it really easy to get the keys. Her place is also in a great location that is really close to the T and an easy walk to Centre St. in JP (why even get on the T?).
Megan and Chris were very accommodating and hospitable, and great foodies: homemade yogurt and granola, delicious beer plus a great recommendation for oysters! The room was pretty much as described, and the balcony was a big plus. Jamaica Plain was a bit too gentrified for my liking, but it was really easy to get to other parts of the city via bus or subway.
Friendly people, a comfortable house and a convenient location. Hope we'll be back there soon!
