Lovely nice, calm and quiet room, with shared full bathroom and huge closet. The best location in town, next to parking lot, green areas and basically every thing you need for your perfect stay in Boston. We would love to have you with us!!
One request please: When you get to our place please DO NOT ring the bell or the intercom, as these are of the neighbors. As you can see from the pics, we have a private entrance. Thanks!!
We arrived at Ela's place on the afternoon of the Boston Marathon. She made extra effort to be readily available before and upon our arrival to make sure we connected easily (given the amount of activitiy occurrng just 2 blocks away). Ela was very pleasant, the room was clean and ready. There were three of us (all adult males) which made things cosy but for one night it worked out just fine. Additionally the location was excellent in terms of access to transit, lots of small shops, and good places to eat (I'd recommend Zaftigs for breakfast).
Thank you for the hospitality.
Ela was very nice and accomodating. She is a great host, full of energy and making sure everything's OK. Her appartement was modest, but it was very clean (once she had done the cleaning after we arrived) and the bed sheets, towels were all clean. The breakfast was simple, toasts and nut butter, but it was still good. Maybe we were unlucky, but there was no toilet paper (paper towels instead) shampoo or toothpaste the evening we arrived, but Ela was happy to get some when we asked for it. The location was very nice and there was a grocery store nearby.
Ela was really nice, and she helped me a lot getting to her house. Also, the place is clean, quite and really close to BU. I am sorry for staying only one night. Absolutely recommended!
Ela was very nice and welcoming. Her apartment and her family made me feel like being home. I had a really relaxing week in Boston. The area is sweet and young and the room was just perfect! Ela gave me full access to the kitchen so I could cook whenever I wanted to.
Great experience staying at Ela's home! The apt is very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated in a nice neighborhood! Ela was so helpful and very kind, in one word a great host! Thank you so much!
This was my first experience with airbnb and it couldn't have been better! First of all, Ela is a great host: she is really kind, communicative and hospitable. The check in has been really easy.
The apartment, as I told her when I arrived, it's even better than the pictures and I did love my room! Moreover, it's close to the metro station and the neighborhood is safe and nice (with some good restaurants and Walgreens behind the corner). I do recommend Ela's apartment!
My trip in Boston was short but very nice, I walked a lot in the city which was very calm, peaceful and lovely, specially this time of year with all the decorations for Christmas. I visited the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, which is wonderful, and the museum of Fine Arts, which owns a very rich collection of masterpieces !
Ela is the best host i've ever met! she was really kind. she tried to make me feel comfortable. and her place is really clean and comfortable. i loved my room. the bed is really really really comfortable.
her place was close to Harvard Univ((by bus) and was not far from the airport(free shuttle -blue line-greenline)
in addition, there were many restaurants near her place and i felt safe when i got there at night.
i can recommend her place strongly :)
Delightful host, Ela was there to welcome us into the home and gave us a great room. Everything was provided from towels to blankets and made sure that we had a great time. We stayed only for a night, but it was a wonderful experience. Not going to look for another place, next time I visit Boston.
Ela is very hospitable and communicative. It was very easy coordinating my check-in. The room is great value, especially if you need to get into central Boston, since the C line stop is just around the corner.
The room was very clean, but felt a bit cold for me (the room is actually a couple degrees colder than the living room, for osme reason). Thankfully, Ela provided plenty of extra blankets so this wasn't much of an issue. The only small problem I had (and I already knew this going in having read other reviews here) was that the noise from the other room travels directly to your room via the heating vent. At first I thought there were a couple of people standing outside my window and chatting, but it's like the noise from the other room travels through the vent and actually has somewhat of an amplified effect. This isn't Ela's fault of course, and it just so happened that during my stay there were three people staying in that other room, so there was constant chat in the evenings. I managed to deal with it by listening to music with my earphones. But if you need absolute quiet, it might be best to ask in advance if there are other people staying in the other room. But overall, I would recommend this place.
