Hola! Mi casa es su casa! Hello! My home is your home!

Many travelers say the best way to experience your destination is to embed yourself among the locals and you'll experience your destination unlike no other. What better way to do all the touristic things in New York and experience New York like a New Yorker than to experience it in one of Manhattan's vibrant neighborhoods, Inwood, a northern Manhattan neighborhood. You'll get a glimpse of what life is like for a real urban New Yorker in Uptown Manhattan.

The room has a full size bed which sleeps two adults comfortably. An air mattress is provided in the room with additional essentials for any group of 3 or 4 persons.

The room is perfect for those who want to have a stay in Manhattan, who aren't easily intimated by first sights (neighborhood is safe with a busy urban appeal), get the most out of their New York City visit, and want a comfortable place to rest their head after a day of touring New York City.

Guest Access

The apartment is fully equipped with all basic household needs and more. To name a few are a hair blower, iron+board, umbrellas, printer.. Just ask! it is very likely to be there!

For your entertainment, the room has a very large flat screen T.V. with many cable channels and Turbo-Speed WiFi.

For coffee drinkers, we have a Coffee machine and a Coffee Grecca to give you the luxury of making your coffee the way you are familiar with.

For Tea Drinkers we offer a good selection of teas which include Green Tea, Black, Earl Grey, and others.

Interaction with Guests

When you stay with me, it will be like visiting a friend in a different country that you haven't seen for years. You will be welcomed with a smile and invited into my home as friends. Upon your arrival I'll orient you to the apartment, sit down and give you personalized tips to help you get the most out of your New York City visit. I'll even give you my list of my local favorite restaurants and recommended foods.

The Neighborhood

WELCOME TO THE MANHATTAN NEIGHBORHOOD OF "INWOOD"

Inwood, in the leafy northern stretch of Manhattan, is nothing short of it's natural charms. Walk around a bit and you can discover other you-don't-see-that-everyday sights. But despite Inwood regularly being hailed as the city's next-cool-neighborhood, it hasn't arrived at it's destination yet and you'll get the opportunity to immerse yourself in one of Manhattan's last changing neighborhoods.

With many shops and great restaurants open at all hours near by, you can easily grab a bite to eat before you start your touring of New York in the morning, or upon your return from a full day's of touring.

This is a perfect neighborhood to experience New York as a New Yorker living in Inwood.

Getting Around

The room is perfectly located half a block from the train station which can get you to Midtown Manhattan and Times Square in a 35 minute train ride.

Other Things to Note

TO ANY AIRBNB GUEST

I decided to offer airport/bus pick-up to NYC visitors because although many taxi's are honest, when some see a tourist, they tend to act as though they are a foreigner too and get "lost" while seeming super helpful and patient. Then you pay the meter and they expect a more generous tip.

I live in Manhattan in a very easy location to get to, close to both highways and I have experienced this sad situation a few times when guests have taken a taxi.

Arranging with me, you are worry-free to arrive home and you will know the fare in advance.
