The apartment is located in a quiet part of Manhattan without late night noises. It is very convenient to many subway lines, a real plus if you want to avoid the gridlock of Manhattan at almost every hour.
The apartment is quite small but cozy. The roof garden has a great view but it is up a flight of stairs from the apartment and requires a couple of locks to open.
There is a hotplate and a microwave and a small refrigerator. No real place to eat except a couple of chairs and the bed.
When we were there, there was quite a lot of noise from some air conditioners. The only other problem was the position of a set of shelves in the bathroom.
Fantastic from start to finnish! Arrival was seamless re getting keys and apartment was super comfortable and location top shelf!
There is no flat better located than this one; the subway is right there, and you can walk to all sorts of great places like Central Park.
The rooftop dining space is beautiful and is definitely unique.
New York apartments are tiny, so it's more like booking a hotel room than an apartment but that's absolutely fine.
The shower is also really good.
On the negatives:
Hilary was 45min late to drop the keys off - this was deeply annoying, particularly as she didn't let us know and didn't respond to our calls or texts asking where she was or even apologise when she got there. Also it was raining heavily.
The corridor carpet needs a wash (bedroom has wooden floors)
Big one is there's no air-con and the fan won't cool you so be aware you'll get super hot if it's hot or humid.
Great location, secure building! Hilary was available to answer all questions! Comfy bed, comfortable room. Thanks for sharing!
Great penthouse nearby the underground and shops. I love the city of New York.
