About this listing
Nice Pueblo neighborhood on the south side with 4 bedrooms and one bath. Clean and quiet. Near PCC and the Fair Grounds.
If interested in a couple rooms only and the whole house is not available, see our other listings.
This is an older remodeled ranch-style 4 bedroom and 1 bath walking distance to the Colorado State Fair and Rodeo. This listing is to rent the whole house. This house is used only for vacation renting so closets are almost empty for you (other than the linen closet or extra bedding). For just private rooms, see my other listings. Sometimes there are long term stays in the bedrooms.
Full kitchen with dishes and a few pantry items - no food in the refrigerator: you will need to bring your own. For long term stay, there is a laundry room. There is wifi, local TV, and DVDs and in the large living room. A TV/VCR is on a wheeled cart for flexible placement such as a bedroom.
Our fenced front yard is slightly landscaped with a few bushes and a pinon tree. The inside is clean and newly remodeled. A large public park is only a block away. We have a nice shady patio in the back off the kitchen (yet to be furnished but grab a chair and sit outside if you like).
The space is about 1500 sq ft: 3 + 1 bedrooms: one with a queen bed: two each with a twin bed (medium firmness), and one extra bedroom with a full sized bed. There is one bathroom in the house with two showers. The couch is also a fold-out but not very comfortable - some prefer to put the mattress pad from the couch on the floor for better comfort.
Decor, furnishings, kitchen items are all utilitarian - not new or fancy but comfortable. If you require brand new bedding you will need to bring your own. This is a low cost and comfortable option for anyone seeking extra space, privacy, location convenience, or quiet. We do not serve breakfast.
On and off street parking under our carport via our alley. We are close to the public park with playground and basketball court and shady open space. Also very convenient to Pueblo Community College and a pleasant bike ride to Abriendo corner Starbucks and the Martinez Cafe just a couple blocks away has a great breakfast from 8am - 1 pm (closed Wed and Thur).
If this is your first Airbnb reservation, we request that you have a complete profile including verified ID, social media and/or a telephone number, a recent photo of your face(s), a bit of a autobiographical description of you and your traveling companion, and the purpose of your trip. It is important to us to be able to greet you by name and know a bit prior to arrival at our home. Also, we don't have access to your contact info, and can't share ours until a reservation is completed. Let us know if you have questions about anything.
If you plan on a long term stay, a security deposit will be required.
You have access to the whole house - kitchen, living room, laundry room (if paid), patio, yard, covered parking. We keep the workshop/garage locked as our own storage.
Generally a neighborhood of retired folks and usually quiet except around State Fair dates when you can hear the fireworks and rodeo. House next door to the south has an RV camper that has been recently occupied in so some outdoor activity like bbq and radio/tv. We are close to Pueblo Community College and the State Fair Grounds. Easy access to Prarie Blvd with several grocery stores and shops.
A car is needed to get around, in general.

My husband Frank and I started doing Airbnb about three years ago and have been enjoying meeting new folks and offering affordable accommodations. My husband and I have four kids - two at home and two out in the world. We have two locations for visitors - one in Colorado and one in New Mexico and they are very different places. We raise llamas in Albuquerque and provide llama events such as treks, meet and greets, or education. search llamas in Albuquerque for more information. The place in Albuquerque is a small family run ranch that is a little funky and very relaxed. The place in Pueblo, Colorado is a quiet residential neighborhood with a lot of space and clean and furnished sparingly. I like to travel and visit my daughters who are traveling all the time. We both like meeting people.
