About this listing

Neighborhood is a mix of incoming professionals, often computer professionals according to recent news reports, as well as families who have been here since as far back as the 1950s. For this reason the immediate neighborhood seems a bit small-townish.

While the home exterior is Edwardian, the interior design is both modern and subjective.

Bedroom comes with a full size bed, portable closet, desk, shelving and an air conditioner.

The space

While the hone exterior is a classic Edwardian, the interior is quite modern along with an eye-catching color scheme. Amenities include a dishwasher, washer and dryer, kitchen sink garbage disposal, and front and backyard gardens.

Neighborhood is a mix of incoming professionals, often computer professionals according to recent news reports, as well as families who have been here since as far back as the 1950s. For this reason the immediate neighborhood seems a bit small-townish.

Guest access

Front door has combination lock; bedroom door, a keyed lock; backyard porch door, a latch lock. Washer and dryer on porch.

Interaction with guests

We answer any lingering questions, such as the WiFi name and password, and make sure you have our phone numbers in case of any other inquiries that may pop up later on. Socially, Natallia is a bit country as well as a bit rock & roll—kind of like shifting gears on a transmission, she’s controlled by the direction of the conversation. As for myself, I’m a bit pithy, but I’m a straight shooter when it comes to the necessities. Cross the line into foolin’ around, and I’ll leave Nata in y’r’s and/or her hands.

The neighborhood

The neighborhood is a bit small townish, with some neighbors having residencies that date back to the early 1950s. The larger metropolis, especially areas with international appeal, is networked by a multitude of transportation modes.

San Francisco, for me, has given new meaning to the sense of diversity with a growing number of computer professionals, currently about 25 percent of the City’s residents, and counting—a tsunami in a different sense of the word.

Getting around

1. City buses often run 24/7.
2. Taxis & Uber certainly run 24/7.
3. "ScootNetwork" - electric scooters that rent via your SmartPhone; they seem to be parked pretty much everywhere for general use in the neighborhood. Roughly $2.00/ride.
3. Airport vans and limo: "SuperShuttle" and others—pretty much 24/7
4. Bicycles can be rented and can be transported on City buses as well as on BART.

Other things to note

There’s some construction going on next door, but it’s almost done.

Property management mostly, but I have a couple of art projects that keep me busy on both sides of the Darwinian trail. Nata (wife) seems to hover more so on the scientific side--I suppose, because that's where she works.
