Welcome to my home! I live on Bleecker Street in the West Village of Manhattan. This truly is the perfect location, there are countless shops and restaurants and for SATC fans: Carrie's apt is literally right around the corner. Just to name a few shops right outside my doorstep: Magnolia Bakery, Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Cynthia Rowley, Marc Jacobs, the list goes on and on and on. A five minute walk (in heels!) will take you to the Standard Hotel, Gansevoort Hotel and Pastis restaurant, basically the entire Meatpacking District is a 5 minute walk away. In case you want to venture out of the Village, every single subway line is also a five minute walk away, including the A, C, E, B, D, F, M, 1, 2, 3 and L lines. And hailing a cab around here is as easy as walking outside and sticking your arm out.
Here are the basics of the apartment: high speed internet, cable TV including premium channels, huge bathroom and bathtub, walk in closet, Venetian chandelier, queen size bed with luxury Italian linens, professionally furnished in a romantic contemporary style.
If you have any questions, please let me know , I strive to be the perfect hostess.
Great location, great apartment. Clean and welcoming. we had a lot of clean sheets and towels, a lot of space for our stuff, wifi, heating, many great cafe's around, few minutes walking to the subway (2 stations near by)
just what you can ask for a NYC vacation.
Both Shaiza and her apartment were fabulous! She was very flexible about timing, simply meeting me at her studio to give me the keys. Everything was just as lovely as in the pictures! And the location was perfect - close to several subway stops as well as walking distance from lots of excellent shopping and entertainment. Overall, it was a great experience!
My stay in Shaiza's apartment could not have been better! The studio was very charming and cozy, with all supplies we needed. Shaiza was a very kind, considerative and reachable host, and she answered quickly to all the questions I sent by email.
This was my first experience with Airbnb and the first time I booked an apartmant abroad, and definitely my husband and I could not be more pleased.
In order words, Shaiza was the best host and her studio was the best place to stay in NYC! I totally recommend!!
We stayed 5 days/4 nights in this lovely studio located in the heart of the West Village. Shaiza is a very nice hostess and her place is tiny and very cosy. The location is just amazing, walking distance from all cool restaurants and neighborhood, close to the subway. We stayed during a snow storm and were happy to have a nice heated appartment to go back to at night. I fully recommend !
I will think twice or more before using AIRBNB again. Yes, the location was great but dealing with Shaiza was very unpleasant. First catch was the photos, which make the place way bigger. The bathroom, very small and filled with Shaiza's stuff has a very petite sink. Kitchen does not welcome ANY cooking AT ALL. Bed was comfortable but the linens were brand new and not washed even ONCE before put to use. She was there to receive us and didn't seem to be happy to have to sleep in somewhere else. Told us it was alright to have a late check in and got all upset because we were not waiting for her at 10am to leave the key even though she had another key and got in the apartment with our luggage's in there. We got back on the time agreed and she got upset because we didn;t call saying we were getting back into the apartment. We left NY with a sour taste. It was my first time in NY. I regret to have cancelled a hotel room, which was even cheaper.
Poor ventilation, awful blinds and depressing view from window.
NO, i do NOT recommend this place.
Great studio in a fantastic location.
Shaiza was a perfect host, and so was the stay!
Shaiza was a very sweet host, meeting me at the subway stop so i could easily get to her apartment, and being flexible with check out times. Her place was a small studio overlooking a quaint courtyard, where I never saw anyone. So I felt like I had a lovely little view but excellent privacy. The location is ideal for getting around and shopping and getting a nice NYC experience. There was no air conditioning in the apartment, but it didn't bother me too much as the small fan was sufficient for cooling. The bed was very comfortable too. My only complaint is that there were a few dirty dishes and no clean towels, but that was because someone had stayed there the night before. I would definitely recommend Shaiza and her perfectly located apartment.
Nice and comfortable studio, full of light. Great location and Shaiza was a very helpful host to accommodate our stay. We would definitely stay there again,
We really enjoyed our stay. This tidy cute studio is located in the heart of the West Village, so it was really convenient for us to get to plenty of coffee shops and restaurants along the Bleecker street and around the area. The location is absolutely fantastic; the subway, meatpacking district, and many other attractions (washington square park, etc) are within short walking distance.
Shaiza was a welcome host and responded quickly to our requests and questions. She was also quite flexible regarding the check-in and check-out times. The studio is small, but it has most things you may need for your stay including the dishwasher and the cable TV. Since all the windows face the inner yard, the apartment is rather quiet and we did not have any problems with noise. The studio is on the second floor, so it is very easily accessible by stairs.
We have been visiting during the days when the heat was not extreme, but keep in mind that at the moment the studio has only a small fan to cool off the apartment. It is not so much of an issue at night, but it may become one if you stay in the room during the day. We would definitely stay there again.
