Our ranch is "off the grid" - so NO electricity, NO running water, limited cell service (10 minutes walk) and outhouses! This is the true Yukon experience!
Our property is no smoking and no pets.

Our Beautiful cabin is truly a beautiful experience, the view from the large windows and deck of Łu Zil Män (Fish Lake) is spectacular in every season. Secluded and private.

The space
The defining feature for this cabin is definitely the view, it is in a secluded spot on our ranch away from the main activity area and looks straight over Łu Zil Män (Fish Lake). Whether it's frozen in the winter time, beautiful blue in the summer or surrounded by colors in the Fall the view is breathtaking.

This cabin has a gorgeous loft bedroom with a queen bed and two single beds and a spectacular view through the huge windows! There is an extra bed (on demand) as well, the cabin comfortably sleeps 4 people but can sleep 5. Please, let us know if there is a fifth person, so we can prepare a bed.

It has a kitchen with stove/oven as well as a cooler (guests must bring there own ice for cold storage, ice can be purchased at any grocery stores downtown). It is heated with a wood stove and has LED lights providing a warm, romantic glow in the cabin. Your own private outhouse is just 10 m away. Enjoy our Gravity fed shower and Sauna outside of the cabin!

In Summer/Fall, carry a bear spray around the cabin and if you want hike around Łu Zil Män (Fish Lake). Bear spray is not supplied, you can rent it at Yukon Wide Adventure, or buy one at Coast Mountain or Canadian Tire.

Guest access
In the winter time we run dogsled tours from our ranch, in the summer time the dogs rest and you can join one of our guided horseback tours. If you would like to know more just let us know when you book!

We're located on the shores of Łu Zil Män (Fish Lake) which is fished all year round and we have access to a network of hiking trails for your enjoyment.

Check-in time is between 1pm to 5pm. Please, let us know your arrival time to be sure someone will be here to show you the cabin.

Other things to note
Our ranch is one of the best spots in Whitehorse to view the Aurora! We're at a higher elevation so quite often out of the clouds and we also don't have any light pollution. There are also plenty of trails all within walking distance and great for hiking in the summer and skiing and snowshoeing in the winter.

Sky High Wilderness Ranch is a must see destination for your Yukon adventure! Located in the Coastal Mountains of Southern Yukon, on the shores of the beautiful Fish Lake, we are approximately 30 minutes from downtown Whitehorse. During the Winter we run once in a lifetime dog sled tours where you get drive your very own sled and team of dogs! During the summer time you can soak in the midnight sun and the beautiful scenery from the back of a horse. This “off the grid” lifestyle ranch is serviced by quaint outhouses, has limited cell service, no WiFi and water is hauled up from downtown. Our buildings are warmed by a wood stove, making for a cozy stay, we have gravity fed showers and our lights & appliances are all powered by propane. We have authentic accommodation in the form of cozy cabins, unique yurts or our rustic lodge, each one allows you to experience the absolute serenity of living on an off the grid ranch.
