Relax and enjoy this classic cottage experience. This newly renovated gem on Oak Lake provides it all! Oak lake is a fresh spring fed lake, 2 hours from Toronto and 2.5 hours from Ottawa, excellent for fishing, swimming and boating. Enjoy amazing views from the deck and private dock. Ornithologists beware, you will be busy watching all the different varieties of bird life.

The lake house is an all-season with beautiful wood throughout. Highlights: well appointed kitchen,laundry,AC,& fireplace

Other things to note
There are weeds in the lake. Although the cleaners & I cut them regularly, later in the season, there are some weeds in close to shore. *TIP* Use a pool noodle or floatie to get out past them :)

Also, there is a TV but it's not connected to any input. It'll play DVD's accept your own firestick, or you can plug one of the inputs into your computer to play from there (via HDMI cable).

PARKING: You can fit 3 mid-size cars if you're efficient with it. Large pickups will not fit in any spot.

BUNKIE: this is a separate building with a desk and bunkbeds. It's just across the lane from the cottage.

Dining Table: has 2 sizes. Use bar underneath table top & slide to change size.

Small, tight knit community in the Oak Hills.

For those wanting to adventure out, there are 4 golf courses nearby and Prince Edward County is within a 1-hour drive away. The town of Stirling is 10 minutes away and has shopping, a brewery, a cidery, yoga, cupcakes and even a water buffalo farm where you can visit baby buffalo. The town of Frankford 10 minutes away has a park on the Trent waterway with a beach, ice cream, splash pad and skateboarding park.
