House - Private room · Monaco Pkwy, Denver, CO 80207, United States

The Space

This is a basement room. It has a super-single-sized water bed. Clean and nice bathroom is next door. Of course I provide soap, clean towels and probably will have anything else you might have forgotten or not wanted to pack so you can just have carry-on luggage. Many empty drawers and a small amount of closet space available. You may make yourself at home in kitchen and other public areas of the house. Wireless internet. No TV in the room. but yes in basement. Window coverings can make it almost completely dark when desired. House is lovely.
I have been surprised by how much most guests have loved the water bed. Most rave to me about how well they slept.
It is easy to to get here via public transportation from the airport ($9). The bus arrives right across the street and I'm happy to send detailed directions. The bus stop to go downtown (west), or east to the Fitzsimmons hospitals complex is just two blocks away.
House is located on a beautiful tree-filled parkway. Room is in the basement, so you can hear footsteps upstairs at times.
I have a variety of cereal, toast, eggs, coffee, tea, etc. for you to help yourself to for breakfast.

  • Jill is the kind of host that (who?) makes it understandable why Airbnb is so successful. Accommodating and friendly, yet efficient. I'm impressed/envious.

  • Jill is a wonderful host, very kind, welcoming and knows a lot about Denver. The place is clean and cozy, looks exactly like on the pictures. I enjoyed staying in Jill's house in my super cool room!

  • Jill was a wonderful host and made sure I was comfortable in the room. The room was nice and perfect. I stayed there for about a week and I had no complaints. The location was safe and easy to commute from Uptown. I also liked the water bed and it was surprisingly comfortable. If I come back to Denver, I would surely like to stay at Jill's house. I recommend it to anyone who wants a temporary stay in Denver :)

  • Jill was a wonderful hostess. Her house was very clean and she had fresh coffee available in the morning. My son loved meeting her.

  • Although my stay was a quick one I still have loads of compliments for Jill, and her place. She is so laid back, very easy to get along with, and her place is clean. She is sincerely happy to help you out in any way possible, and very thoughtful. What else can I say? She is pretty awesome.

  • My stay at Jill's house was perfect for me. I just needed a place to stay for a couple of days while looking for an apartment. I happened to catch her at breakfast after the first night of my stay and she made me a tasty cup of chai. The space was nice, the feel was very comfortable, and I felt right at home.

  • Jill is a great great person. Her room and the water bad are perfect. This is where you need to stay when you're in Denver (even if it's not in downtown - but that is easy to go there by bus). Jill came to pick me up at the arrival of the airport shuttle, she drove me back there, she's so nice and friendly. Great stay in Denver.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Jill. Her warmth and hospitality made us feel as though we were staying with an old friend! The four nights we spent in her home were the most pleasant we spent anywhere in our two-week road trip.

  • Jill has been an absolutely amazing host! She knows Denver like the back of her hand and has the best advice for visiting places and events around town. Not only was she knowledgable about the town she lives in, but her hosting skills were superb. We felt right at home. We were here for a month, waiting to find an apartment of our own, and it was as if we were staying with family. We shared stories, dinner, lunch, breakfast and helped each other with various necessities. Since both Jill and I shared the love of teaching, she was able to offer me things she had acquired over the years, which made the experience even more personal. I would recommend Jill any time of the week.

  • Jill was very helpful during our visit in Denver. Pleasant conversations and a gracious host. We stayed for four days and three nights. Nothing bad to even possibly think about saying. Location is good, right off a major road that pretty leads to anywhere you'd want to go. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

I am friendly and I love meeting people from all over the world. I have had guests from 26 different countries so far. I'm easy going and easy to get along with. I can be like staying with a friend of a friend, in that I am glad to take care of your needs, and give you pointers about Denver, (or pick you up from the bus) or also happy to leave you alone and grant you all the privacy you want (tell me.) My dog died and now I have no pets (boo hoo). I speak French well, some German and Spanish.
