  • Really nice place with a lovely decoration. Everything was clean and towels were even provided. We didn't have the chance to meet massimo but we were in contact via whatsapp and he was really helpful and nice. It is not right in the city center but not far and there was a metro station near the appartment. The price is also good compared to the other things we saw!

  • It was a pleasure to be hosted by Massimo! He is very nice and friendly, always reachable by phone or whatsapp ... advised us very good restaurants!! And the location of this apartment in a quiet street is just near the underground and bus station; which is really appreciable in Roma! Thank you!

  • I stayed 3 nights with my wife in Massimo's Apartment which is nice and centrally located. The most important thing is that Massimo is a very friendly host and I found (email hidden) for Rome. I never forget his email with full descriptions of Rome before our arrival in his Apartment which was very helpful for us.
If I go back Rome my first choice will be his apartment and I definitely recommend to my friends too.

  • We have had a very pleasant stay at his place.
It was very nice to meat him, he is a very nice person
    and helped us very good,
with all kinds of useful tips to get to know Rome a little bit.
That is why he makes our stay very convenient.
We could use everything in his apartment, the kitchen with all kinds of
equipment, the bed was good, the bathroom cosy.
We could leave the luggage there at our arrival and when we left
there was no special time to pick it up.

    Greetings Carla and Remy

  • We stayed for 5 nights in Max's top floor, 3 bedroom apartment and found it to be a great base for exploring Rome. The apartment is a very short (maybe 5 minute) walk from the Re Di Roma Metro stop and between that and walking, we had no trouble getting around the city. But it's far enough removed from the heavily visited sites that, while still a busy part of town, it's all locals and not tourists. Nearby are several coffee shops, restaurants, a grocery store, small market, quick take out places and kiosks to buy Metro tickets/newspapers. The neighborhood was clean, safe and relatively quiet. We never heard noise from other apartments in the building or road traffic, with the exception of ambulances, which are impossible not to hear no matter where you are.

The apartment itself is nicely decorated, clean and spacious, with two bathrooms and a shared living/kitchen area. It has a washer (no dryer, but lines are outside the windows), oven, freezer/fridge and though we wound up only using the oven once, it was nice to have the option of a full kitchen. Max was away most of our stay but we met him on our last night and he was very kind and talkative and did a great job of keeping in touch with us prior to our arriving in Rome, communicating some last minute changes and making sure we had all the info we needed once in the apartment. His English is excellent and he was even able to help us out with obtaining a needed phone number prior to our actually meeting him. We found him to a helpful, gracious host and our room had everything we needed-lots of closet space, electrical outlets, and a comfortable bed.

The only thing to keep in mind is that there will likely be other people staying in the unit with you. I believe one of the bedrooms is Max's, but the other 2 are rented out and you will be sharing space with whomever rents the other bedroom. There are two bathrooms in the hallways, so you may wind up sharing a bathroom with either Max or other renters. Max keeps the place clean-no smoking allowed and for the most part things were quiet during our stay...except for the other bedroom occupant, who enjoyed either (website hidden) or speakerphone conversations starting at about 9:00pm each night and going anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours. She would mostly conduct these in the kitchen and usually we were fed and ready for bed by the time we reached the apartment each night and had brought earplugs so it was manageable. Still, something to be aware of.

All in all we enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay with Max again when in Rome!
