I stronlgy recommend to stay at Massimo place. It was my first and also the best experience in Airbnb. Massimo was very friendly and helpful guy he was always available to help me, I highly appreciate him. His place was so tidy and extremly nice decorated and the bathroom and room was very veryyy clean, the room was big enough and had so many mirrors which I liked it. The location was near to the public transportation so it was easy to use and the also most important was the area which was so quiet and safe. I really enjoyed my staying in Rome.

Massimo was excellent with communication & very friendly yet gave lots of space to do my own thing. His house felt like a home. Location is great...very close to all the sights without being in the middle of tourist-ville (only a few stops on the metro).

I really liked having Massimo as a host! He was excellent at communicating, very friendly, checked in on me, and was available for anything. He was very approachable and responsive messages, and he has a good personality. Chatting with him was always a pleasure. Check in was smooth. It was easy to communicate with him to schedule check-in. Aside from showing us all the amenities, he also sent me an e-mail with many recommendations to visit, some less touristy than others. It was very helpful and thorough. The apartment is located in a large, beautiful complex in the San Giovanni area. It's a nice break from the very hectic and touristy areas. It's about a 6 minute walk from the Re Di Roma metro stop on the A-line, and 4 minutes from the bus stops around Magna Grecia that take you downtown. Quiet, safe area. I felt safe walking back at midnight. Lots of restaurants, gelato, etc in the area, and a few minutes walk from the Simply Market grocery store-- you don't need to pack much since you can buy your toiletries/groceries right there. The room was as described, with some furnishing adjustments. It was very clean, and had ample closet space. The door to the room locks, so you can feel safe leaving your passport and valuables. The common areas were well-kept. The kitchen was thoroughly stocked with dishware, and tea & coffee. I have bad dust allergies and did not have any issue here. Every room, including the bathroom, had thoughtful interior design and decoration. It was pleasant to live there and felt like a true home, not impersonal hotel. Bathroom was clean spacious and had everything, including one of the case. There are those downwards bidets. I was very, very hesitant to drop my rating to a 4/ 5 but there was a degree of disorganize-ment here. For example, the listing says 2 private bath, which led me to believe I personally had 2 private bathrooms. This is not the case. There are 2 bathrooms in the apartment, which has 3 rooms. When I got there, the guests in Room A were using the bathroom I should, and I had to share with Guest B with a bit. After expressing my discomfort, he had Guest B use the other bathroom and I stayed using the B bathroom for a few days. When I inherited my proper bathroom, the cleaning lady did not come until later the day after the. guests had checked out. I had their dirty towels in my bathroom for as couple of days b/c despite telling the host I would leave the dirty towels on the floor, she still mistook them as mine. She also told some new guests to use my bathroom (which my host corrected). At one point, the entire apartment ran out of toilet paper with no spare and my host had to come over at midnight to deliver some (which was nice of him). He is a good man...

Best value in Rome. Extremely accommodating in every way. Massimo has my highest recommendation both for the room itself as well as the dedication to the very high level of service as a host.

I highly recommend this place. Everything is exactly as listed. The room and the bathroom were both very clean. The doors of the closet in the room are full length mirrors, which I loved! The room is a decent size. It is perfect for one or two people. The bathroom was very spacious. The shower had good water pressure. Also, Massimo is great. I ended up getting there a lot later than expected and he was very understanding and patient. He really seems to care about the people he hosts. I would definitely stay here again.
