Champs Elysées at your feet - quiet

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Rue Lauriston, Paris, Ile-de-France 75116, France

The Space

Week days outside of main holidays might be marked as unavailable as this is my office. In fact, at some dates it might be available as I often travel. Please inquire. I rent for two nights or more.

All of Paris at your command from this newly redecorated small penthouse apartment on the top floor (with elevator) of a pleasant and safe 1930s building on a quiet street just 5 minutes from the Etoile (Champs Elysées) metro station (lines 6, 2 and RER A).

I use this place as my office but often travel. The bedroom's comfortable sofa bed sleeps 1 or 2 people. The apartment has windows on both sides, and typical view over Paris rooves and over an exceptional reservoir garden. There is a brand-new equipped kitchen where you can cook all you buy in neighboring shops.

It’s just a short stroll to the Trocadero and the Eiffel Tower, the Seine, the Bateaux Mouches and the spectacular Guimet Asian Arts Museum. Metro and bus routes get you in minutes to the Louvre, Montmartre, the Marais, the Orsay Museum, the Latin Quarter and all the key sites in Paris. From the neighboring RER station it's a direct, short ride to the center of Paris and Notre Dame cathedral.

This is a safe, pleasant neighborhood, with restaurants, cafés, street markets, discos, food stores and Lenôtre bakery and caterer.

Dry breakfast goods are provided, + wireless Internet access.
Attention, this is a penthouse appartment with no aircon, it can get hot in the summer, but there is plenty of circulation of air and fans.

I often travel but, when in Paris, I live accross the hallway and will be happy to give you tips and information on what’s happening. I have prepared a practical and cultural file which I often update and send to guests after booking.

I am bilingual French/English, and also speak German, + will do my best in Spanish, "Portunol" and Italian if necessary.

And.. despite one terrible review by a one-night "guest" I do not wish to any other host, please be assured that a professional cleaning service comes prior to and after every stay. More than 30 rewievs mention cleanliness of the flat.

enjoy your trip!

  • a lovely spot...perfectly located and charming. Quiet, safe and a good night's rest. I would go back and Pascale was a lovely, communicative and organized host.

  • We consider it extraordinary good fortune to have stayed at Pascale's apartment for six nights. The apartment was warm and cozy, a delightful antidote to the almost inevitable drizzle and cold of late autumn in Paris. The apartment was clean and very quiet, yet located within steps of a market, cleaners, a post office and two main avenues. Pascale gave us helpful suggestions for sights and eateries and transportation. The apartment is also a short walk to three metro stops. We come to Paris often and Pascale's has become our favorite spot.

  • We stayed 3 nights at Pascales apartment. Everything is as the pictures show. The apartment was in a brilliant location with the arc di triompe just a few mins away and the Eiffel Tower and Louvre at walking distances. We would highly recommend staying at Pascales apartment. The communication prior to our trip and during the trip was excellent. The itinerary sent to us prior to our trip allowed us plan ahead and made sure we made the most of our stay. Pascales apartment is equipped with all essentials so pack lightly

  • Pascale's apartment is an excellent location. It is clean and very nicely appointed with lovely art work and furniture. The sofa bed was really comfortable and the kitchen is equipped with pretty much everything you could want. The immediate area offers lovely wandering, coffee drinking and good eating, while a 15-30 minute walk gets you to lots of places, including Place de la Concorde, and Trocadero and the Eiffel Tower which was our favourite evening stroll! This apartment does really offer a lot and we would certainly like to return in the near fufure.

  • It was our first experience on AirBnB and it indeed was a good one. Pascale was a lovely host. The accomodation was exactly the way it is shown in pictures. Since we had a packed itinerary, though we wanted to meet Pascale - we unfortunately could not except for a few hello and hi's. The apartment is very cosy (Parisian flat) and in my opinion best suitable for couples. The lift is very small but for us it was a unique expereince - it does become uncomfortable if you have luggage - but no complaints from us. The best part of the accomodation is that it is walking distance from major attractions including Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Champ Elysees and metro stations. Pascale provides very detailed instructions regarding use of equipments, tips on travel etc which were very handy. Access to hotspots too is very useful - especially when you are outside the apartment. We only wish we could stay longer. Thanks Pascale. Hope our paths cross in future.

  • Great location and super convenient! The host had very good recommendations for restaurants and cafes.

  • We spoke with Pascale a few times prior to booking her apartment for our stay, the amount of help / advice / information which she offered enhanced our stay in Paris and for that we are thankful.

The apartment was ideally located for our first time in Paris, after leaving the bus at the Arc De Triumph (and a few photos later) it was 7/10mins walks to the apartment without really knowing the area except from looking at maps.

Following the advice we had received in emails we were soon unpacked and heading down to see the Eiffel Tower lit up at night, again only about 5/7min walk to the Trocadero from the front door.

Over the weekend we got the metro here and there, yup; only a few mins walk away from the apartments front door we were able to get to a metro station to any place we wanted.

The closeness to these amenities may lead you to believe that the area was noisy, this is simply not the case.

My only 'negative' is that when Pascale knocked on the door to say hello one morning, I was in the shower and my girlfriend spoke with her, I would have liked to have said thank you personally but never got the chance to. The corner cafe you mentioned really does do excellent coffee!

    Thank you again

  • What a cosy apartment in the safe and convenient 16th arrondissement, a easy walk to the Arc de Triomphe.

The apartment is very clean and has all the comforts of home. Wifi works perfectly.

The elevator is very tight. Stocky folks will have an issue.

Pascale travels quite a bit, so we were not able to meet her. Nevertheless, she answers email within hours (assuming she's able to get to a wifi hot spot where she's traveling).

Upon booking the apartment, she will email a very detailed information packet to you detailing everything you could possibly want to know about the apartment, directions, what to see, etc.

She is very organized and communicating is a delight.

Whenever we're in Paris, here's where we will stay.

  • This was our first experience with Airbnb and it was wonderful! Pascale's apartment is in a great location and has everything you need for your stay. We were in the apartment very little (only to sleep) but her place is clean, well taken care of, and has an excellent bed and shower!

It is near the train and within walking distance to just about everywhere you would want to go in Paris. Definitely recommend!
