Absolutely lovely stay in Cyn's lovely home. Our hosts went way out of there way to be kind and helpful and their home was so comfortable. 100% recommended :-)
We flew in late due to weather and they were more than accommodating to our late schedule.
The place had the perfect amount of room for our needs, was comfortable.
Convenient neighborhood and super friendly folks.
The house is spacious enough for our family and located in a cute neighborhood. Cyn washed our towels a couple of times during our one week stay. Plenty of blankets, pillows, fun books.
The light in one of the bedrooms burned out....someone brought a couple of lamps in promptly. Lovely!
Area of improvements:
1. The coffee maker has a very short cord and nowhere convenient to be plugged in. An extension cord would be nice.
2. More usable pots/pans/utensils in the kitchen. We elected to eat out for the most part because the kitchen was not as well appointed as it can be.
3. A toaster would be nice
4. Rather noisy. ...every movement on the second floor can be heard downstairs, interrupting sleep.
5. WiFi was highly unreliable. I gave up trying to get any work done there.
Thank you for hosting us!
Firstly even after seeing and reading our ad, Azlina arrived upset that we were upstairs and that she had not rented the 'entire house. She also had more guests in house than we suggest for our apt. Many many people in over their stay. We opted to not comment this time. But will now. The floor was left in a ridiculous condition and had to be cleaned 3 times. Our kitchen is over stuffed with kitchen appliances, pots, pans, etc. We hosted nothing but chefs for a local food school for a full year. Faulty internet? We've never had a complaint and we take on high tech guests regularly. Regarding sounds from above. We have feet and cannot cut them off. All in all you received a fantastic value for what you spent. We hope you enjoyed your overall savings, if not your stay.
This is a great place to stay! Perfectly clean (critical!) Lots of towels and pillows if you need them. Really well situated for easy access to downtown and airport as well. My host was sick so I never got to meet her but she made sure all was ready for me.
If I need to come back I would stay here again.
The Venetian unannoying art is mine. I r a photog. Sorry for not providing scrubby and soap, an oversight on our part. We generally provide them. Scented or not scented we try and work with a wide audience. If we have raw peeps or naturalistas we have natural alternatives. We'll know for next time :-)
We didn't have the pleasure of meeting Cyn during our stay, however we were greeted with open arms by Pete. Pete was welcoming & kind and extremely helpful in assisting us to navigate OKC. There seems to be a little something to peak everyone's interest in OKC & our house was close to it all. The house itself "checked every box" and truly was more than we had hoped for. Plenty of space & thoughtfully decorated and furnished. I would definitely stay again & I highly recommend 43rd Street Art House to anyone traveling in the OKC area. Thank you Cyn & Pete for opening your lovely home to us.
This home is lovely and clean. The hosts generously offered to bring by a baby cot and an air mattress to help accommodate us.
The neighborhood is really cute, so close to lots of good restaurants. The hosts were gracious, even when we as renters were a little much to handle.
