PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION!!!!
Great rustic artist loft in the heart of SoHo, one of the rare original lofts left,
situated on a quaint bustling street, in amazing location. Loft has a massive living space with dining area, filled with quirky vintage furniture, it makes for a great place to chill. Also has a great theatre/rehearsal space within the loft with live shows to entertain, SNL performers have been known to perform in some of the shows, so great for the artist. On occasions shows can go late, so PLEASE BE OK WITH THIS. Big bedroom with double bed, large window and closet offer a comfortable and private place to sleep and light breakfast goods are in fridge for you to help yourself to. Also juice bar for the healthier travellers, (great fruit and veg stall around the block).
Building is super safe and each room is lockable so total privacy for my guests.
Bathroom is shared.
Elevator opens into space, however operates at unusual hours, closed at nights and sundays. Apt is close to all subway lines and is situated in the heart of Downtown Manhattan close to China town, Little Italy, L.E.S, and East Village. Lots of great shops, bars, clubs and everything NYC has to offer. Close to broadway which has lots of great shopping and boutiques so perfect for the shopaholic.
I have a 2 small hypoallergenic dogs called buster and Digsy. Super friendly and very rarely leave my bedroom :)
Guests have access to all communal spaces and can watch shows in performance space. Only class on Sunday is closed

Other Things to Note
Live shows in loft
Please be ok with live shows
Loved my stay in Charlotte's loft. The room was very clean, as well as the bathroom and I had a key for the room for total privacy (which was important for me as I was travelling alone). I was able to watch a show, really fun. It finished around 11:30pm.
Charlotte was very accommodating. If you want to contact her, it's better to send a text rather than use Airbnb's private messages. She'll be quicker to answer.
The street can be very noisy (but it's NYC so no surprises there!) so pack some earplugs accordingly (Charlotte also has a jar of them in the rooms).
Only negative thing was the kitchen, it's quite messy. I didn't mind because I only stayed for 2 nights and didn't plan on cooking for myself while I was there. But if you choose to stay in a apartment to save on meals and cook, that's not the right place.
Other than that everything was great! Thank you Charlotte!
I had a great time at charlotte's. Cool space, very laid back atmosphere, perfect if you want to be downtown, and right near subways. Highly recommend.
Thank you! It was amazing trip. Charlotte has very big heart. Lovely place quite during the week and very active during the weekend. The area is one of the best in NYC! For sure I will come again!
The Loft is mostly as in the Pictures. It has tree rooms, that can be rentet out at the same time. The room covers your most certain needs, a bed, a place to put your clothes, a mirror and a key ;)
Charlotte is a very helpfull host. She is available to answer any question you may have and she is very kind.
The Kitchen is a bit messy, so if you are a person who want´s to Cook every night, this could maybe be a minor problem. ;)
The bathroom is very fine, it funktions and is, as a bathroom is, in an old Building.
You should expect there to be shows in the Evenings; ex. Movie Nights and Stand Up in the Livingroom. There can also, in some afternoons be different types of Things going on, fx yoga. It's a place with life. :) Ofcourse expect to share Bathroom and Kitchen with the other guests/people in the Loft, if it's guests staying at the Loft or people comming for the different events at Charlottes place.
It might be good idea to exchange emails with Charlotte, prior to arrival to help communication, the air bnb app is not allways functional.
The neighbourhood is great. It is very close to shopping, different subwaylines and plenty of bars and restaurants (Little Italy and China Town).
Expect there to be noise in the evening, and in the nights, either from the shows or from the streets, it is the city that never sleeps! Fortunately Charlotte has a whole jar of earplugs in every room, for those in need ;)
We enjoyed our stay in the Appartment and in the Big Apple very much :D
Ha sido un placer estar alojados en casa de Charlotte, una experiencia muy agradable, en un gran barrio, en una gran ciudad.
This loft has a cool vibe and Charlotte was very hospitable. My friend and I arrived during an open mic night for comedians. We listened in on a few performers before going out for the evening. The space also has character - and I enjoyed lounging in the open area between outings. The location was great for us: we enjoyed the corner coffee shop and gorged on dumplings in Chinatown.
My friends and I had a great time at our night in Charlotte's apartment. She was super laid back and even let us bring along a third friend when her plans fell through. She was originally going to have to crash on a couch or the floor, which she was fine with, but when we got there Charlotte let us know that one of the bedrooms was unoccupied and let her sleep there for no extra charge! There are a total of 3 bedrooms that she rents. As it clearly states in Charlotte's description, the far part of the living room from the bedrooms is used as a performance space for acting rehearsals or improv shows. When we were there, this wrapped up by 11 pm and the actors were super cool and we felt very comfortable either staying in our room or coming out to watch/talk to them. This really added to our experience and we loved how laid back everything was, but if you don't think you'll be comfortable with live shows or other guests staying there as well, this might not be the place for you. The space had a ton of character. The kitchen and living room were huge and decorated really cool and everything had a lot of New York charm. The area is like 2 blocks from the main parts of little Italy and Chinatown and near tons of cool restaurants and cafes in soho that Charlotte was eager to help made recommendations for.
