About this listing
PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION!!!!
Great rustic artist loft in the heart of SoHo, one of the rare original lofts left,
situated on a quaint bustling street, in amazing location. Loft has a massive living space with dining area, filled with quirky vintage furniture, it makes for a great place to chill. Also has a great theatre/rehearsal space within the loft with live shows to entertain, SNL performers have been known to perform in some of the shows, so great for the artist. On occasions shows can go late, so PLEASE BE OK WITH THIS. Big bedroom with double bed, large window and closet offer a comfortable and private place to sleep and light breakfast goods are in fridge for you to help yourself to. Also juice bar for the healthier travellers, (great fruit and veg stall around the block).
Building is super safe and each room is lockable so total privacy for my guests.
Bathroom is shared.
Elevator opens into space, however operates at unusual hours, closed at nights and sundays. Apt is close to all subway lines and is situated in the heart of Downtown Manhattan close to China town, Little Italy, L.E.S, and East Village. Lots of great shops, bars, clubs and everything NYC has to offer. Close to broadway which has lots of great shopping and boutiques so perfect for the shopaholic.
I have a 2 small hypoallergenic dogs called buster and Digsy. Super friendly and very rarely leave my bedroom :)
Guests have access to all communal spaces and can watch shows in performance space. Only class on Sunday is closed

Other Things to Note
Live shows in loft
Please be ok with live shows
Spent one Wednesday night at the loft and would definitely stay there again. The location is perfect with subway access nearby, bike rental nearby, or exploring on foot - lil Italy, Chinatown, Soho, (I walk everywhere). Charlotte and friends made the logistics of the stay super easy. The loft itself is awesome - funky/functional common room with kitchen area and one bathroom. I have no complaints!
Great place just as described. Loved the location the feel of the place and the bar a few doors up. Thanks for the fab place to stay!
Our experience was fun. The location is perfect. If you are looking for a place to eat in the area walk to "Jacks Wife Freda" you won't be disappointed! Thanks for having us.
I had a great stay at Charlottes place, we were only there for one night but the space is very unique with a lovely creative atmosphere. The location is amazing and I would highly recommend!
After a not so easy check-in (back and forward to get the keys) the rest of the stay went quite well.
Apartment is well located (east border of Soho), close to Soho shopping district and very well connected by metro.
Apartment has its own charm with the mix between apartment and theater/artistic vibe.
Bedroom is big enough and even if it was hot the room was ok just with the fan.
Don't expect to use the apartments for meals (wasn't my case) since it is not conceived for that.
Charlotte seems a nice person even if not easy to reach, taking long time to answer any message.
Overall a good an unique apartment
This place is not for everyone but I thought it was exceptional. Boring people should stay somewhere else. Having a chance to sit on open-mics and a taped discussion forum were unique New York experiences. The space is enormous by New York standards albeit rather cluttered with stuff. Such access to so much space is rather luxurious. The three rooms available for Airbnb quests are all big and unique. There is air conditioning in the open studio but not in the individual rooms. Charlotte and Taylor, her assistant and resident are both gracious and interesting people. The place was actually very quiet when there was not performances and the location is wonderful. On the doorstep for both little Italy and China Town is very exciting. I loved Soho itself. For a fun and unique dining experience try Korchma Taras Bulba, 357 W Broadway. It feels like you can’t miss in little Italy and I would like to try “Red Egg,” when I come back. I definitely hope to stay with Charlotte again.
