PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION!!!!
Great rustic artist loft in the heart of SoHo, one of the rare original lofts left,
situated on a quaint bustling street, in amazing location. Loft has a massive living space with dining area, filled with quirky vintage furniture, it makes for a great place to chill. Also has a great theatre/rehearsal space within the loft with live shows to entertain, SNL performers have been known to perform in some of the shows, so great for the artist. On occasions shows can go late, so PLEASE BE OK WITH THIS. Big bedroom with double bed, large window and closet offer a comfortable and private place to sleep and light breakfast goods are in fridge for you to help yourself to. Also juice bar for the healthier travellers, (great fruit and veg stall around the block).
Building is super safe and each room is lockable so total privacy for my guests.
Bathroom is shared.
Elevator opens into space, however operates at unusual hours, closed at nights and sundays. Apt is close to all subway lines and is situated in the heart of Downtown Manhattan close to China town, Little Italy, L.E.S, and East Village. Lots of great shops, bars, clubs and everything NYC has to offer. Close to broadway which has lots of great shopping and boutiques so perfect for the shopaholic.
I have a 2 small hypoallergenic dogs called buster and Digsy. Super friendly and very rarely leave my bedroom :)
Guests have access to all communal spaces and can watch shows in performance space. Only class on Sunday is closed

Other Things to Note
Live shows in loft
Please be ok with live shows
I found the apartment very spacious with large rooms and a retro décor. There are shows that are organized several times a week , I found the concept very nice but not very relaxing after a long day visiting NYC ! However , the apartment is very dirty. The kitchen is impractical. The dirty bathroom disgusting with hair everywhere. The shows evenings after a thirty people there is past , the toilets were filthy. We had a problem with the toilet which are blocked ( Charlotte fixed the problem very quickly, I want to thank the airbnb teams) but we have not had water for more than 24 hours. We have not been able to shower or use the toilet. During my 10 day stay I saw one time a person clean . That evening, after the show , the apartment had become very dirty. I would not recommend this apartment.
Loved my stay in Charlotte's loft. The room was very clean, as well as the bathroom and I had a key for the room for total privacy (which was important for me as I was travelling alone). I was able to watch a show, really fun. It finished around 11:30pm.
Charlotte was very accommodating. If you want to contact her, it's better to send a text rather than use Airbnb's private messages. She'll be quicker to answer.
The street can be very noisy (but it's NYC so no surprises there!) so pack some earplugs accordingly (Charlotte also has a jar of them in the rooms).
Only negative thing was the kitchen, it's quite messy. I didn't mind because I only stayed for 2 nights and didn't plan on cooking for myself while I was there. But if you choose to stay in a apartment to save on meals and cook, that's not the right place.
Other than that everything was great! Thank you Charlotte!
Loft very noisy and dirty, doesn’t really look like photos. Bed is uncomfortable. There are three nightclubs under the apartment (nightclub vibrations and screaming people as far as 4 am on the morning). All the bedrooms are on the street side and no soundproofing and thermal insulation (vibrations from the subway included). It’s my 8th time in New York but it’s my first time in a so poor quality apartment. Shows in the loft every days as far as 11 pm. Nevertheless the show concept is interesting. Kitchen and bathroom are shared with 4 to 30 people. In this place, we feel more the business, no empathy, no communication.
Christele was one of the worst guests I have ever had and made me feel very uncomfortable in my own home. She basically tried to bully me, at one point not even allowing me to enter my own bathroom. She also made it very clear that if I did not do what I asked she would leave a bad review, which I believe is known as blackmail. I would think long and hard about accepting a reservation with her. Disgusting all round
Thank you! It was amazing trip. Charlotte has very big heart. Lovely place quite during the week and very active during the weekend. The area is one of the best in NYC! For sure I will come again!
The Loft is mostly as in the Pictures. It has tree rooms, that can be rentet out at the same time. The room covers your most certain needs, a bed, a place to put your clothes, a mirror and a key ;)
Charlotte is a very helpfull host. She is available to answer any question you may have and she is very kind.
The Kitchen is a bit messy, so if you are a person who want´s to Cook every night, this could maybe be a minor problem. ;)
The bathroom is very fine, it funktions and is, as a bathroom is, in an old Building.
You should expect there to be shows in the Evenings; ex. Movie Nights and Stand Up in the Livingroom. There can also, in some afternoons be different types of Things going on, fx yoga. It's a place with life. :) Ofcourse expect to share Bathroom and Kitchen with the other guests/people in the Loft, if it's guests staying at the Loft or people comming for the different events at Charlottes place.
It might be good idea to exchange emails with Charlotte, prior to arrival to help communication, the air bnb app is not allways functional.
The neighbourhood is great. It is very close to shopping, different subwaylines and plenty of bars and restaurants (Little Italy and China Town).
Expect there to be noise in the evening, and in the nights, either from the shows or from the streets, it is the city that never sleeps! Fortunately Charlotte has a whole jar of earplugs in every room, for those in need ;)
We enjoyed our stay in the Appartment and in the Big Apple very much :D
Ha sido un placer estar alojados en casa de Charlotte, una experiencia muy agradable, en un gran barrio, en una gran ciudad.
